Kyle was looking from the twins to me with a nervous grin on his face. He was probably wondering what exactly they had told me, so I decided to play with it a little.

Nini- Yeah they was just tellin me all about those other girls. You know all the ones you was chillin wit, and doin a lil' more wit, if you know what I mean.

He turned to Tami and Titi who were trying their best not to bust out laughing.

Kyle- Ok. if they told you about Donisha then that was nuffin. Matta fact she right ova dere.

He nodded toward a girl who wasnt even the least bit attractive. She had curves and all, but she wasnt as fly as me and I had no problem saying so.

Nini- she aint even all that. You call that a Ex?

He laughed. Apparently the music wasnt loud enough because she was quick to step all up in my personal space.

Donisha- Excuse you? Bitch you got some nerve commin up in here actin like you runnin shit.

The music was turned down a little because everybody wanted to catch the new girl in action.

Nini- Oh sweetie you excused. But Dat Bitch shit aint. If im a bitch den im the baddest bitch. And if you gon' step to me you need to come correct.

Donisha- And you are?

Nini- Oh im the chick da dude you want is wearing on his arm tonight.

The crowd started instigating. going "ooo" and "Oh she went on her!"

Donisha- Girl please. I dont want him you can have-

Nini- Got Him

I said cutting her off. She got mad and stepped in my face even closer than before.

donisha- all I know is, you betta watch ya self. Cuz when Im mad, everybody knows. And You jus pissed me off.

Nini- Oh I care, I really do.

I said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and walked off. I turned back to Kyle who was in shock.

Nini- yo ex got some serious anger issues.

Kyle- I ain't think you was gonna stand up to her like that though. She got a Rep around here.

Nini- Yea yea

Tami and Titi were quiet at first and then they spoke.

Tami- Girl, you is so much different den I though you was.

Titi- True

I laughed and when I turned to my right I saw 2 guys comming up to me. The first guy was a caramel complexion with pretty brown eyes. The 2nd guy was lighter than the other and he was just as cute. Kyle introduced them as Lamont and Wayne.

Lamont- Man, I thought you was about to get to wreckin in my house. Not that I aint wanna see dat, but moms would lose it if she came home to a tore down house.

I laughed.

Wayne- So I see you let Kyle talk you into a party on yo first day to da ATL huh?

Nini- Yeah, its cool though. My brother seems to love it.

We all looked toward my brother who was still rappin honey up.

Lamont- Oh dats yo brother? He cool young. He had me laughin like shit a minute ago.

I nodded wondering what could have been so funny. For the next 5 minutes we all chatted and then Kyle wanted me to dance with him. I suprised him once again as I grinded against him and turned the crowd back to me and him. I danced with him for 3 songs straight before we took a break. We went upstairs where there were less people and it was much cooler. We went into the first bedroom we saw and sat on the bed.

Kyle- So hoodstar, tell me something you cant do.

nini- there's alot I cant do, i just cant think of anything right now.

Kyle- Can you draw?

I looked at him and smiled before nodding my head.

Nini- Pretty well actually.

He gave a defeated sigh and looked me in my eyes.

Kyle- so tell me about yourself. whats your story?

Nini- I moved here from New York. I met you, and now my story's just beginning.

Kyle- No past?

Nini- No, just the present.

We stared at eachother, neither knew who would make the first move. Its not that I was nervous, Its just that now that I was sitting across from him, I realized my other boyfriend wasnt as interesting as I thought he was. I never got this heat when I was around him. I never felt this way. Kyle interuped my thoughts with a kiss. He leaned me back onto the bed and I was so mesmorized I didnt care. This kiss alone let me know that the old me was Dead. This new me, the one I though I'd hate, was taking over. She was here to stay.
