I found myself getting home a little sooner than I had origionally planned. When I walked in my brother was sitting at the table eating a bowl of oodles and noodles.

NiNi- Hey Travis where's ma?

Travis- Oh, she left like ten minutes ago. I think she said somethin' 'bout the grocery store.

I nodded.

Nini- Hey you wanna go hang out tonight?

Travis- Hang out? Hang out where?

Nini- ok so I met dis real cool dude like fifteen minutes ago and he invited me to go chill wit his crew tonight.

Travis- and I would wanna go because?

Nini- C'mon Travis, lets be real. When school starts, do you really wanna be the new kid on the block?

Travis- actually I dont mind. dat means all da ladies have a fresh face to flirt wit.

Nini- Datz whack. Just come with me tonight we can hang out, Live it up. What do you got to lose? Its pretty clear that ur bored to def in this house.

He thought it over for a minute then gave in.

Travis- Aight I guess its cool.

Nini- Thanks bro. Be ready at seven, K?

He nodded and finished his noodles.

Meanwhile I went up to my room and started to decorate a little. It was only noon so I had to kill some time. I opened up a box that had all my pictures and photo albums in it from New York. I began putting the pictures on the wall. I hung pictures as well as taped them. I took a black marker and signed my name on the wall as well as the date like I did in my old house. Before I moved out of the house I put a dash beside the date and put the date that we moved out. When we moved from here, I planned to do the same.

*7 oclock*

The doorbell rang and I ran down to get the door. As soon as I opened it and saw Kyle's face I felt my heart begin to race. He smiled and I smiled back.

Kyle- Wassup HooD Star.

I laughed.

Nini- let it go already.

Kyle- Nah, sorry. you gon' have to put up wit' it. I already to the crew all about chu'.

Nini- Lucky me.

With the chit chat she had forgotten about Travis.

Nini- Hey when you say crew you mean guys and girls right?

Kyle laughed.

Kyle- Yeah Nini guys and girls. why?

Nini- Cuz' I wanted my twin brother to come.

Kyle- Oh dats cool wit' me.

Nini- aight, lemme go get him.

I ran up the steps and walked into his room for the first time since we moved here. He had unpacked a little, but not much. He was looking at his outfit in the mirror. He had on some dark blue jeans, a black T, some black adidas, and a black hat was slanted to the back on his head. I had to admit, my brother was FLY!

Nini- you look good supa star, now its time to go.

Travis- I do look good dont I?

We laughed and went back down the steps.

Nini- Kyle this is my brother Travis, Travis this is Kyle.

Kyle- wassup man.

Travis- Shit, Chillin.

They gave eachother Dap and did that little one armed hug guys do when they dont wanna look fruity.

We went outside and got in Kyle's white 2007 Lexus FT-HS hybrid. It was hot.

Nini- DAYummm!

Kyle looked over at me and laughed.

Kyle- you like?

Nini- I love!

Travis looked impressed too.

We got in the car and sped off too our destination. When we got there it was a huge house party. I was more than happy to get wit the excitement. The house was huge and I could only guess how many people were inside.

Travis- who house is dis?

Kyle- My man Lamant. He be throwin' dem mad parties yo!

Nini- I see.

We went in the front door and people were dancing and gettin dey freak on. A girl came over and said hey to Kyle.

girl- Hey kyle. what took you so long? wayne and nem' was lookin' for you.

Kyle- I had things to do.

he turned to me.

kyle- by the way yall, this is Honey. we call her that 'cuz she too sweet. If you gon' be cool wit somebody, it should be her.

Honey- even though that was a very nice thing to say, im not too sweet. I can be a bitch when I wanna.

She said this jokingly and automatically I knew she was cool and laid back. My brother hadn't taken his eyes off her since she walked over. Me and Kyle both noticed this and excused ourselves so they could be alone.

Kyle- Thirsty?

I nodded.

Kyle- I'll be right back.

When he walked away I was just starting to get into the music. Just as I was about to completely let go a girl bumped into me.

girl- oh my gawd! im so so so so sorry.

I laughed a little.

Nini- dont be. Its fine. No harm done.

another girl- Isnt she a clutz?

I was looking down when the other girl said this trying to make sure there was nothing on my outfit. when I looked up I was standing face to face with a set of twins. I looked from one twin to the other and wondered how anyone could tell them apart. Even though they were identical, they had no apparent difference so people could tell them apart. Then it hit me that one twin had apologized and the other twin insulted her.

There it is. Thats how I can tell them apart, they have different personalities.

girl- sorry again. I tend to do that alot. Im Tia. But you can call me Titi. This is my sister Tami.

Nini- im Niara, nini for short. although I kinda picked up the nickname Hood Star accidently while I was-

Both of their jaws dropped.

Titi- Wait! Kyle's Hood Star?

I wasnt too sure I wanted to answer. But I nodded anyway.

Tami- Oh gurl he has been sayin a hella lot about you. He went on and on about how cute you were and how you got some bomb ass vocals.

I couldnt stop the blushing.

Just as I was about to respond kyle walked over and slipped a soda in my hand.

Nini- Hey you!

Kyle- Hey. hope you like Grape. It was either that or I was gonna have to give you vodka or something. and I wasnt sure if you wanted that so I-

Nini- Its cool. Grape is my favorite soda.

He looked me in the eyes, and smiled.

Tami- aahhuuumm

she made that noise people make when they want you to aknowledge their presence.

Kyle- Hey Tami, 'sup titi?

both- hey!

He looked at one twin and then the other.

Kyle- wait, what was yall over here talkin' 'bout?

all three of us- YOU!

*sorry if this chapter is boring, I promise the next  one wont be. I just HAD to have it so that all the characters met and stuff. You know how it goes. So ANYWAY Lemme know what you think.
