I didnt know what to say. A baby? We hadnt even had children yet and he was talking about getting some other woman pregnant. I was stunned. I could barely stand up straight at this point and I tried to quickly locate the nearest place in my house to sit.

"P-P-Pregnant?" I started fanning myself.

I looked up to the ceiling hoping it would make the tears dry up but they didnt. They kept falling. Jamal came over and tried to console me but I didnt even want him to touch me. I pushed his arms away fro me as quickly as possible. I looked him in the eyes and he saw all the pain in mine.

"Why? Why would you do that to me? I thought you loved me"

"I do love you. It was a mistake baby."

"A Mistake?" I chukled at the word. "Yea well... your mistake is about to cost you your wife."

I got up from where I was sitting, went into the bedroom and slammed the door. I would be lieing to myself If I would say I didnt think about telling him he wasn't the only one getting some extra love on the side. I thought about rubbing it in, but if the baby wasn't his I wanted to work it out with him. This was a first time thing for both of us. I didnt want to lose the love of my life over a few Mistakes.

My cell phone started vibratng in my purse and I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tasha, I was calling to check on you... Jamal's dad said you might need someone to talk too before the night was over. What happened sweetie?"

I smiled at my big sister Nadine's concern. But it made the tears come again. I sniffed and wiped my eyes as if trying to hide the tears from her through the phone.

"It's Jamal..."

"What about Jamal?"

"He... he may have gotton someone pregnant."

"What? No... that man loves the hell outta you, he would nev-"

"WeLL HE DID" I said getting irritated. It wasnt so much what she said that got to me, it was the fact that it applied to me too. I loved my husband but I was indeed driven to sleep with another man.

"Im sorry Tasha... Do you need me to come over?"

"No im good, Im just gonna go to bed" I said walking over to my dresser and pulling out a sexy black lace nitie.

"Ok, call me if you need anything. I love you"

"I love you too Nay." We gave eachother kisses over the phone and hung up. I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face. After I had gotten dressed I went and got in the bed.

A few minutes later Jamal came in and got into bed too. We went to bed without speaking another word to eachother.

[5 weeks later]

"Sweety this just isnt normal behavior, maybe you should see a doctor" My Bestfriend Shavonn said while we were in the mall bathroom.

We had just came from the foodcourt eating cinnabuns and all of a sudden I had to throw up. I would have thought anything of it if it wasnt the third time that day it had happened.

"Ok, I just dont know what could possibly be wrong with me. I cant keep anything down. I've been this way for two weeks" I said a little worried.

"And you havent been to a doctor yet?"

"No... I thought it was just a stomach virus like last time... I thought it would go away, but even a stomah virus doesnt last this long"

"well, do you wanna go today? I cant go with you"

I nodded my head. I rinsed my mouth out and grabbed a paper towel to wipe it off. I wasnt really anxious to get to the doctor's I had a strong feeling I wouldnt like what I was gonna hear.
