The day went by quickly and By the time eigth period came I wanted to make sure I asked Michael about tonight. That was our only class together anyway so now was as good a time as any. When I walked into my AP world history class Michael was already sitting down with a few of our friends chatting. I sat in my usual seat right behind him.

"Hey Ameila. Did you finish that project yet?"

Michael was actually cute. Some would say he was more than cute. Alot of girls would break their necks just to be the first to say hi to him when we got to class. He had light brown eyes and a clean cut shape up. He had braces but he was the kind of person who could wear them and make them go perfect with his face. He had his left ear peirced, and a diamond stud was inside.

"Nope I didnt, I was planning on finishing sunday since all I have to do now Is find some references to go along with it. That should only take about 20 minutes to put together." I said putting my clip back in my hair that I had taken out seventh period.

"Oh. Yeah me too."

"Hey Michael do you have plans tonight?"

He smiled. "No, why do you ask?"

I smiled too. "Well... Monica wants me to hang out with her and Justin tonight but... I kinda need a date"

"So lemme get this straight. You Ameila, want me Michael, to go out on a date with you? This has to be a joke. I mean You turned me down only about 100 times..."

"So Is that a yes or a no?" I said smiling at his sarcasticness.

"Yes." He winkind and turned around just as our World history teacher Ms. Thompson came in and started Rambling on and on about Chapter 19 in our books.

I wrote down my address and phone number on a sheet of paper and gave it to him.

"So did you ask him? What did he say? Did he say yes?" Monica came rushing over to where our lockers were.

"Slow down... He said yes" I said giving her a weird look. "You know you should really take meds for that over excited thing you have going on.... It's not normal"

I put all my books into my locker except my Chemistry book, and some notes I took in Spanish 4.

"whatever Meme. So... tell me what happened from the beginning... dont leave anything out."

"Do you need a ride home?"

"No, Justin's taking me"

"Well I'll tell you later because I have alot to do... call me"

"OK"

"Hey what time are we supposed to be going?" I asked realizing she hadnt told me earlier.

"We might leave around 7 or 8... Justin is picking you up at your house" She said backing away. "I'll call you if that changes though"

I nodded and walked away.

I got home around 3 and I had a missed call on my house phone and the message light was blinking.

I threw my books on the bed, walked over to the phone, put in my password, hit the speaker button and let it play.

"Hey Ameila It's Justin... Um... I still want to come over but I was wondering if we would have time before we went out tonight since it might get late. If not we can try tomorrow. Anyway im on the way home from dropping monica off so just call me when you get a chance."

Beep. "message ended... to delete this message press 7... to replay this message press 8... to save press 9... to-"

I pressed 9 and hung up.

I picked the phone back up again and returned his call.

"Hello?" he said sounder so exotic.

"Hey Justin its-"

"Ameila, Hey"

I smiled. "I just got your message... It's really up to you if you want to come today or not."

"good. I can come today and tomorrow. I need all the help I can get"

We both laughed. "Ok cool"

"Im on my way"
