The next morning I was awakened by music. It wasnt loud, but I sleep light so it easily woke me up. Darious was sleeping next to me and I thought to myself, this is the first time I slept next to a guy and didnt do anything with him.

I went into my brother's room where the music was comming from. He was lying on his back, on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. He didnt even look at me as he began to talk to me.

"Dont you know how to knock?" He said still looking up at the ceiling.

I walked in more being sure not to step on anything foreign, and looked up trying to see what he was staring at. "Umm... yea but what are you looking at?"

"Nothing now, but a few minutes ago I was staring at you and your new fuck buddy."

"What?" I said actually wondering what he was talking about.

"Why cant you just except the fact that no guy, especially one that I hang out with, is never going to want you for you. Everyone knows that you're a whore. They all say it, and honestly i've taken the liberty of telling everyone you're adopted cuz its embarrasing."

"You're saying that I'm embarrasing you? You embarrass me too. You're a sloppy, rude, disrespectful asshole. All you know how to do is get high. YOU ARE WORTHLESS!" I said yelling at the top of my lungs.

"Well at least Im not a whore." He said proudly.

"Oh please, you probably have had sex with plenty more girls than I have boys. Its just that because you're a boy, people see what you do differently."

"Word on the street is that its not only guys you sleep with."

"Are you calling me a lesbian?"

"I believe the correct term is bisexual." He said matter of factly, but at the same time sarcastically.

"Listen Shawn, you can think whatever you want about me. Honestly I dont care because you're too high to even try to explain myself to you. But Darious is nothing like you, and the sooner you see that, the sooner you can do youself some good."

I walked out, and I couldnt control my anger from getting the best of me. I got in the shower and then got dressed. I out on black skinny jeans, a white and black shirt, and some white and black adidas.

When I got out of my room, Darious was awake and about to leave out of the door. "Hey, where ya going?"

"Umm... I kinda have to be somewhere right now. I might be back later to hang out" He said in a worried tone.

"Are you okay?"

"Uh yea, I'll be back a little later"

He walked out of the door and I was a little confused at his behavior. I decided that I had to follow him just to see what was up. He went around the corner and walked about four blocks before he stopped at a house. He turned left and right to see if anyone was around before he knocked. I ducked behind the fence that separated us and then he knocked. A girl came outside and and gave him a tight hug. He returned the hug and held her hands tight.

I gasped at what I saw. Maybe he's more like my brother than I thought.
