I found myself getting silent as he looked at me awaiting the ending to the story. I just didnt know how I could get it out and not sound like I brought it all on myself. Finally realizing I did, I kept going.

"My father thought that since I was staying with him that summer, he could bring in some extra money... using me"

"what do you mean?"

"You know what I mean Kevin."

He looked at me with confused eyes and I knew that I had to explain it so him. "He brought his friends over one by one that summer and... charged them to have their way with me. Lucky for me, he made them all use protection."

"Your own father?" He looked at me in disbelief.

"Well he was never really my father. That was my second time in 9 years seeing him. He and my mom were never married and he didnt even want a child. He looked at me like I was a complete stranger and he didnt even split the money with me."

"So did he get caught?"

"Well when I went home at the end of the summer my mom noticed a change in me. I wasnt talking, I wasnt on the phone with my friends, and I wasnt outside or asking for money. All I wanted to do was lay in my room all day, and sometimes I ate."Kevin sat back beside me as I finished. "My mom called to ask my father what had happened that summer, he didnt say anything so she had to come to me. I told her about him chargng his friends to sleep with me... but I never to her about my baby and the strip club guy... I figured somethings are just better left unsaid."

Kevin gave me a look like I was lieing about the whole thing. But he didnt say anything. Finally he asked what I had expected him too. "When was the last time you had sex?"

It took me a second to register the question. I had never told a soul about it and he would be the first to know... even before shannon. Though she knew about the strip club and the baby, she didnt know about this.

"The very last time I had sex... was with my father"
