I feel closer to God than ever before, just because of what happened to me one night while on the internet. I was talking to my best friend. She asked me a question and it happened to be about God. Of course I wanted to tell her all I could.

 

You know those quizzes that people send to you and you have to fill in as much as you can about the person that sent it to you? Well one question said “Does this person believe in God?” I assumed she did, so I put yes, but after yes, I put “But I’m not quite sure if she really believes.”

 

Well after I sent it to her, she saw what I put for that question. So she asked me about it and I said maybe it’s time we talked. I was telling her how God died on the cross for us and how He takes our sin away when we accept Him as our personal Savior.

 

I had never really witnessed before, and I was very nervous, but God guided me through it. At some times, it was hard to explain some of it. I didn’t want to confuse her.

 

After I was done talking to her, I just started crying. I cried for 20 minutes straight. I wasn’t crying because I was sad. These were tears of joy. She may or may not have accepted Jesus as her Savior, I did not know that night, but at least I know I gave her the chance. 3 days later she did accept Him as her Savior. I was so happy you could never even imagine the feeling. It’s just so amazing.

 

So please, don’t wait to tell those you love about the love of Jesus. If your friends do not know about Him and they die tomorrow, what will happen? You would kick yourself for not telling them. If you do tell them and they die tomorrow, you can have peace knowing that if they accepted, they will spend forever with Jesus.

 

Forever is a long time. We cannot imagine how long this will be. I want my friends to be with me in heaven forever. So I tell my friends to never let any questions they have remain unanswered. Ask me anything, even if it sounds stupid. I will always be glad to help you out. I love you forever, but even more so, Jesus loves you forever.
