August 14 The day I found the love note
Yet another weird day. When I woke up Ana and Theresa were nowhere to be seen or possibly heard of either! Only me Snow Ball, and Fred were in the dorm room. All I wanted to do was say it was a dream, and go back to sleep. That’s when I heard the door being knocked on, I said “Hold on be there in a min.” then I got out of the bed and answered the door. It was Lora I wonder what she could what at ten in the morning. Its ten-o-clock, oh shit I forgot I was sleeping and forgot all about meeting Andy at nine in the morning. Well better see what she wants. “Andy is waiting for you Rose by the girls water fountain, he told me he’s been there since nine-o-clock, then he asked me to go and look for you” I was shocked when she told me he was waiting for me then I asked her “Is he really waiting for me?”
“That’s what he told me” she answered, turned around and left. I still had a shocked look on my face, got changed without taking a shower, that’s how shocked I am, really.
When I got out of my dorm Lora was right he was by the girls water fountain. Waiting for me. When he saw me he jumped up to his feet and asked “What on earth where you doing in your dorm past nine-o-clock, sleeping in or something?” I tried to look at him and say sweetly “I was asleep, I told Theresa and Ana to wake me up at eight-o-clock sorry” I could only see him out of the corner of my eyes when he said “Well next time tell them to wake you up at seven they’ll forget and wake you up by eight, ok?” I was finally able to look up at him and say “Oh, ok were you really out here since nine-o-clock though?”
“Yes Rose, I was, I was waiting for you” is what he said as soon as I got done talking. “What’s wrong are you ok, did someone you love die?” He gave me a shocked look and said, in a tone of voice I never heard him, or anyone else talk to me with, say “The person I love is not dead yet and wont be for a love time, well at least I hope not, and anyways what is it to you?” I all impressed answered “Well you sound kind of upset to me that’s all”
“Well you got that right I am upset, but only because my dad called my cell when I got to the door of my dorm and told me my mom found out she has cancer.” I looked at him in the eyes and told him I knew how he felt, after all a lot of my family died from cancer.
By the time we got lunch he had a huge smile on his face which made me happy, rather then sad. He started telling me about what happened last year at Lexington Side Middle School, after all he did go here last year. He told me who all was popular and who was the geeks. What shocked me was when he told me that he himself was a geek last year. He must have changed a lot because he’s totally hot!
On the way leaving from lunch, he told me he had to be somewhere and he would talk to me tomorrow. As soon as he was out of sight I walked straight up to my locker (in the hallway my classes were in) to get some gum but instead I found a note. I thought it would be for Ana or Theresa, but on the front it clearly said in big red letters…
TO: ROSE
It was to me…what the…who on earth would write me?! So I opened it and it read in red
Dear Rose,
I’ve come to see you like either me or my friend. Because I really do like you! And also wanted to know if you liked me to and wanted to maybe go out with me? Your other friends are just fakes, but you…you’re really cool

I have no clue in earth who wrote this but I’ll find out who did. I mean who on earth would like me more then just a friend, and say I was really cool. I think they must have the wrong Rose, because I’m so not cool and don’t think I’ll ever be cool in life.
When I got to dorm Ana was sitting by the computer reading. As soon as I closed the door her eyes turned to me and she had asked “What are you doing, being so early back to the dorm” I stood right there and blinked then went “Andy had to go somewhere. I had nowhere else I wanted to go so I came back to the dorm.” She looked at me then went back to reading her book. I just wanted to turn around and leave. But where would I go? Just as I started to walk over to my bed the door was being knocked on. I felt like I had to answer it, so I turned on my heel and opened it. To my surprise it was Jake, he asked me if I’ve seen Andy at all today. “Yea I did in the locker room, he told me he had to be somewhere do you where it is that he had to be at in a hurry?” He looked at me and didn’t blink once, then said very slowly “So you saw him and he ran off without saying where he was going at all?” I still trying to figure out why he said it slow said “Yes, I saw. No he didn’t tell me where he was going” he blinked once, turned around and ran down the hallway. I decided to help Jake look for Andy. So I closed the door behind me and went “Jake! Wait up.” and believe it or not he stopped running, turned around and asked “Are you sure you want to help me look for him- ”
“Yes he’s my friend I have to find out where he is.” I cut him off before he was finished talking. Then he just said “Ok I go to the locker room, you knock on every dorm and ask”
“Ok” I said so fast. When I got to his dorm I looked at the next one but knocked on his. To my surprise Andy opened the door, in his other hand was a very thick book. He looked at me and asked “What on earth are you doing in the boys hallway?” All I could think was, what is that book he’s reading, and I need to tell Jake I found Andy, and what is Ana reading, she never reads. Then I said “Um, Jake is…was looking all over for you” He just rolled his eyes and said “Come in, Jake on the other hand needs to stop worrying about me, really.” I gave him a very confused look and asked “What do you mean he needs to stop worrying about you?” He didn’t answer it so I asked “Where were you off in a hurry to?” Now that he answered with “Oh that, I had a play meeting today at two its no biggy.” he sat down and sighed then continued speaking “You can sit if you want, but what did you do when I left?” I was still looking for somewhere to sit and said “Oh me, well I went to my locker to get some gum, but instead found a love note for me. I read it. Went back to my dorm to find Ana reading. Then Jake came over asked if I was you, that’s how I’m here now” He looked at me with a shocked look and said “You found a love note for yourself and read it?” My head turned to the door as I said “Yea” I felt Andy was looking at me weird when he asked “What is it?” I of course said “Nothing I thought I heard someone outside your door” and was I ever right two kids were making out, outside the door. That’s when I saw Jake all the way at the end of the hall. I jumped to my feet and told Andy I’d see him tomorrow in the morning at nine and left his dorm.
I had to go all the was on the other side of the boys hallway just to go up to my dorm. When I entered the dorm this time Ana was in bed and Theresa was the one reading. What I did was change into my pj’s, open my book and read. As soon as it was ten Theresa was already sleeping, so I turned out the lights and went to sleep.
