boyfriends houses when I got the call. It was my bro saying that they couldn't find my grandpa. At first I didn't think any thing about it until he called back and said they found him and he's dead. I dropped to the floor with the phone still in my hand. I begged god for it not to be true and for my grandpa to be alive. But It was too late. He was found out in his yard under a tarp that he was trying to put up so he could pull his cars under it. They say he died from a heart attack. See my grandpa was basically a father to me so hearing that just tore me all up. I went home and was still in shock not believing it at all until I saw my mom and bro crying. Then I knew it was for real. We spent the next day planning for the funeral and for the visit to the funeral home. We all went to pick out his casket. I couldn't handle that at all I cried the whole time and the next night at the funeral home all I could do was cry. He meant so much to me. He was suppose to see me walk across the stage in may of that year to get my high school diploma. But he didn't. When we went to burry him I couldn't handle that at all so I ended up walking back to the car and just crying my eyes out. After the funeral was all over and everyone started to get back to thier own lives I was still upset alot and often would cry in my room for hours. He had always been there for me. It just wasn't fair. How could God do this to me. Well its been 3 yrs now and I still get emotional when I talk about it. I can't go to his grave without crying. It still hurts. But I have learned to just go on with your life and I will see him one day. But not soon enough.

RIP. Grandpa Evans.
