Running down the steps to trip on the last one. Only to look up and see joey chatch me. "Where are you going to a hurry?" he asked

"Home. Back to maine" i say

"And why are you doing that?" he asked letting me go

"Well one theres nothing here for me and two...have you seen the room they want me to live in?" i say looking in his beautiful ocean blue/gray eyes

"Theres something here for you. Ill help paint it with you." he smiles

"What is that?" looking at his smile that could bring a dead person alive

"Well theres me" he says leaning in and kissing me

"OMFG your my dads gf kid" wipeing the kiss away

"No im not" he says

"Who are you then?" i ask turning around

"She took me in 2 years ago. I was a lil drug kid and I didnt have a dad or mom. She took me and put me in rehab and asked the towns people if she could adopted me! Well there told her yes. And ive been her kid for the last 2 years." he says

"oh well i need to go talk to my dad. Ill talk to you later i guess." kissing him on the cheek

Walking in the ugly pink house to see my dad sitting on the staires holding my bear candy. Candy is the teddy bear ive had for 16 years. I got her when i was being born. I sleep with her every night. I know im 16 and all but i makes me think of my mom and i just like slepping with her. My father is crying. As i it down next to him he says "baby girl i never ment to hurt you. All i wanted was for you to be happy. I know i need to ask you about the move and if your unhappy we will go back to maine."

"Dad that not why im unhappy." i say

"The why are you?" he asked handing me candy

"Cuz you never asked me about karen or anything. You just said that were moveing in a month. I never even got to say bye to ace."

"You know ace will always be around. And ill help you paint the room the coler you want it" he said

"Joeys going to help me. Did you know hes not karens child?" i say

"yes and i saw you kiss him" he smiles

"No way. Dad!" i say

"Well i when to see if you left and i saw you two kissing" he said

"Face it you were spying on me. when will my car be here?" i say laughing

"Today some time and theres a thing in it for you" he says

"What is it?" i ask

"No way im i telling you. and when it gets here thank karen it was her idea" he says

"okay" i say just then the door bell rang

"go see its your car i think. im gonna go put candy away then ill go out there" he said

I open the door to see a man standing there. and karen next to him.

"Where you want the car lil miss?" the man ask

"Ill take it" i say

Running over to it to see ace sitting in the front seat.

"ACE" i sream jumping up and down and next to her my dog kendle.

"Sammarra" she says getting out and hugging me

Karen and my dad come over i hug karen and say thanks and hug my dad. "How long are you here ace?"

"They didnt tell you?" she asked
