Journey from earth to hell part 5

Back in the airport.....

"Hey Alana are you ok?",asked Blaze.

"Yeah i'm OK.",she said," why do you ask?"

"Umm i dunno....", he said blushing a bit as she was looking at him with a very sweet face.

"Uh-huh ok then.",she said,"Let's get out of here then. We wouldn't want to be the last people to get out right?"

They made their way out onto the landing and started thinking about their next step.

"Um excuse me.",said a voice from behind Blaze and Alana as soon as they reached the waiting room of the airport.

Blaze and Alana looked back to see a man in a uniform. He was a tall and lean man. He was a well groomed and good looking man, properly shaved with hair coming down to his eyes. His eyes were red so Blaze guessed that he was probably sleeping a while ago or he poked his eye.

"Uh yeah?", said Blaze.

"Are you Mr. Blaze Tron.",said the tall man.

"Uh.. yeah. How do you know that?",said Blaze.

"Well let's not talk so much. I'm here to take you to our hotel.",said the tall man.

Alana turned her head and looked at him and then nodded. She then looked at the man as if scanning him and then turned towards Blaze with a disappointerd look.

"You mean that you can't read his thoughts!?",thought Blaze.

"No he's not thinking anything, it's as if he knows how to block me entering into his mind.",sending her thoughts to Blaze.

"Oh well it doesn't matter, let's go then, we don't know anything about this city and why should we not make use of the best opportunity that we've got.",thought Blaze.

"Yeah i guess you're right... lets' go then."

"Uh are you guys coming?", said the tall man as soon as they had agreed. It was as if he knew that they were talking inside their heads and deciding.

"Yeah sure.",said Alana,"Blaze c'mon let's get our luggage first."

"Yeah of course.",said Blaze.

They all left to get their luggage and in 15 minutes they were in the cab going to somewhere unknown.

The cab was very comfy and Blaze was enjoying the ride. He looked at Alana who was looking at her hands.

"Uh hope you don't mind going to an unknown place with an unknown guy....",said Blaze.

"Oh yeah i think this is a very bad idea and i should just slap you and get outta this cab right now.",she said sarcastically.

Blaze and Alana both laughed at this and looked away from each other.

A very nice smell was coming inside the car and Blaze loved it.

He was thinking whether she liked him or not and then he just remembered that she could read thoughts so he just shut his head and started looking at the view outside.

It had been a long way and they had reached the woods. He was imagining both of them playing hide and seek outside. Running at each other almost about to kiss each other then a thought struck him.

How can a city like New York have this kind of view?

He looked at Alana who was probably thinking of the same thing.

"Uh... Mister are we still in New York?",asked Alana.

"Oh no we aren't in New York.",said the chauffer,"We'll be entering another part of New York from here. Nobody knows that this is a shortcut to the other side of New York. But you don't have to worry about that right now. All you need to do is sleep.... Good Night children."

And suddenly as if his words spilled magic, both Blaze and Alana were fast asleep.

"That gas worked miracles. They're sleeping like babies aren't they?",said a voice.

Blaze had woken up but he decided to keep his eyes shut and listen a little bit. He was definately not in the cab right now. It felt like he was on a couch. It felt nice to be under the air conditioner as he was sweating so much.

"Do you think that we should wake them up now?", said the voice of the tall man.

"No not until the Boss tells us to.",said the other voice.

"OK fine then.",said the voice of the tall man.

Blaze suddenly remembered that Alana was here too. He opened his eyes a little bit and saw her right next to him fast asleep. She was so close that he could smell her perfume.

Blaze heard a ringing sound and thought that it was probably a cell phone ringing.

The man other than the chauffer took out his cell and spoke into it.

"Yes sir.... they're here......shall i wake them up now....Yes sir....Thank you sir."

He then disconnected and kept his cell inside his pocket.

"Your money is in the other room. You can go and get it now.",said the other man.

"OK, nice talking to you man.",the tall man said and went to get his money very happy with himself.

The other man now went to both of them and started waking up Alana then Blaze. Blaze acted as if he was fast asleep and had just woken up.

"Uh where are we?",asked Alana.

"You are in our hotel right now.",said the man. He was unlike the man who got them here. He was short and balding with a moustache and beard. He was quite fat and looked as if he was pregnant for 3 months.

"How did we reach here?",asked Alana.

"Our driver brought you here... don't you remember anything?",asked the fat man.

"Oh yes i remember now. Are we in some part of New York which is unknown by others?",she asked the fat man.

"Oh did that guy tell you that?"

Finally Blaze decided to open his mouth,"Yeah he said that nobody knew that this part exists."

"Well yes that is absolutely true... well you must be really tired, let me take you to your rooms",said the fat man taking the luggage in his big fat hands.

Both of them followed the fat guy into a very fancy room.

"This is the only room vacant right now",said the fat man.

"Well guess we'll be sharing our rooms then.",said Blaze.

But hang on, the fat man and the tall man said that this place was not known to anybody so how come this was the only room left.

And as if the fat guy read his mind he answered,"The other rooms have been taken by our men who work here."

'Um OK",said Alana.

They both entered and analyzed the whole room. The fat man left them and Blaze closed the door.

"Wow this place must be really expensive huh!",said Alana.

"Yeah good thing I have this on me.",he said taking out his mother's credit card.

"Oh yeah i almost forgot about that."

Blaze went towards the window and looked outside. It was a sight that he never actually imagined. It was a metropolitan view. Big skyscrapers, cars moving everywhere, people walking. The reason he thought that this was unusual was because that both of then said that this was an unknown part of the city. Well this place looked as if anyone could just look at it and say wow this place is big.

Then Blaze noticed something. Right outside people were disappearing at one side of the hotel and reappearing at the other side. It was as if there was a warphole that was transporting them into the other side and they didn't even notice it. So that's why they said that no one knew about this part of the city. It was right in front of them but they were transported into the other side and no one would see this huge hotel in between them.

Blaze looked at Alana who was back from her bath now.

"Hey did you know that-",he said.

"-there was a warp. No need to tell me. I was reading your thoughts. You haven't forgotten that so quickly have you."

"Oh yeah right."

"But yeah i think that the thing we're dealing with is wierd and we don't even know why we're here. Its just better to stay shut right now and look into the matters later."

Blaze nodded in agreement.
