Galidread’s first companion was Kahnjie, (a half-tauren half-elf) who was found where they first met many years ago. Kahnjie had the best traits of both races: agile, quick, precise, cunning, and stealthy as the elf; strong, tough, intimidating, bold, and relentless as the tauren. He had broader shoulders, was much faster, stronger, and taller than most others. He was also an excellent marksman and incredibly efficient with his melee weapons (elvish twin hook swords). Over all he was an unparalleled fighter in ever aspect excluding magic. His appearance was very fierce: horns of a tauren, ears of an elf, rage filled elf eyes, furry/hairy legs of a tauren making pants needless, and a tattoo on his forehead which glowed dark when deep in battle. The next ally was Barinn, (a half-dwarf half-hobbit) who Galidread found in a tavern. Galidread stood in the background for a few minutes watching as Barinn engaged in beer drinking and arm wrestling contests, winning all bets. Finally when Galidread approached him with Kahnjie close behind gathering undesired stares and murmuring, Galidread spoke saying. “This is the fifth tavern on this street that I’ve been to looking for you. In every other, the owners told me you took all their customers money and moved to the next tavern.” At this Barinn coughed into his pint spraying beer all over the table he was sitting at and turned around with a big grin. “Ah Galidread,” Barinn said with a happy sigh. “It’s been a while old friend, but I have to get ale money some how don’t I?” He continued. “Well yes, but given your parents, the most beer drinking suckers for their kinds, you have an unfair advantage over fifty taverns. But how did you manage to beat all of these folks in arm wrestling.” Galidread inquired, to which Barinn replied. “Naturally I get them stinking drunk first, then they just fall over.” Barinn is rather small for a dwarf since his other half is hobbit, even so he acquired the beer chugging traits of the two best beers drinkers of the most beer drinking races anywhere. Though not as big as most, he is still quite strong and quite capable of defending himself against most anything, his fighting specialties include his many axes, whether they be throwing or battle, and his variety of traps. He is adequately armored, from his helmet to his chain mail, and he also utilizes his quickness and height to his advantage. While Galidread and Barinn continued talking, Kahnjie decided to visit a table of strong looking humans and dwarves that appeared to be telling jokes to one another about the strange “elf-cow” that entered with the human. Without a word Kahnjie grabbed a smaller of the humans by the neck with one hand and tossed him out from the table, sat down across from the most formidable looking dwarf, and put his elbow on the table with his hand and forearm up. The dwarf chuckled saying, “Looks like the pointy eared fleabag wants to test my strength.” As he grabbed Kahnjie’s hand and put his elbow on the table. When Kahnjie then spoke saying, “You’re going to need both hands.” Though he spoke quietly, most of the humans even a couple of the smaller dwarves shuddered, for even as they expected a large voice from this huge brute; they were not prepared for it to be this deep, booming and, powerful of a voice which seemed to own an evil slight echo. At this the dwarf started to sweat and grabbed his own hand to help his situation. He also tried very slightly to pull his hand free from Kahnjie’s grip only to feel the crushing strength of Khanjie’s squeeze, and then quickly abandoned this idea. Again Khanjie spoke saying, “Go.” At this the dwarf threw all of his strength into Khanjie’s arm. Khanjie’s arm then went quickly down toward the table, where it suddenly stopped only an inch or so from the table top. The dwarf shocked, looked up to see the huge grin filled with razor sharp teeth of Kahnjie. When all of a sudden and with out warning, Kahnjie slammed the dwarf’s arm into and through the table, turning the table into a pile of splinters on the floor. When he saw what was about to unfold, Galidread decided it was time to leave before Kahnjie got into too much trouble. Galidread then set out for the last addition to the group, when they came across a woman fighting a goblin. Kahnjie and Barinn started toward them intending to help the “helpless” woman, when suddenly the goblin fell in two pieces; split in half and burst into flames. Kahnjie and Barinn stopped in their tracks stunned as Galidread walked past them to the woman. As they hugged and started talking, Kahnjie and Barinn finally snapped out of their daze and approached. “This is the last member, her name is Helaina, and she is a lycanthrope.” She was a beautiful, tall, strong, woman a little younger and a few inches shorter than Galidread. Her hair was black as night, and she wore a dark red studded leather bustier, with a thigh level black skirt, tall dark gryphon skin boots, and a black choker with a red dragon’s tooth attached to it. She is a great magician of casting fire spells and great close range fighter in both her forms. She can summon a staff from her hands by pressing her hands together and pulling them apart slowly revealing her staff as though it were coming out of a dark light from the middle of her hands. She can then turn it into a scythe by flicking it, making a blade flip up from the end of it, and she can also turn to her lycanthrope form making her nearly invincible, too powerful almost even for Galidread’s skill to handle.
