So...my great friend and I took a drive down "memory lane"...what the hell was I thinking...I should have turned left...not right...that's what!
So for those who know me, or are getting ready to...I have had some shitty luck with the ladies...downright bizarre in some cases
The woman who I thought I was going to marry after high school...well...she passed away a couple days before my first daughter was born in 2002. I found out after I sent my birth announcement e-mail for Reagon's arrival…her estranged husband wrote me back to ''break the news''…I was in shock, disbelief and denial…I did my internet research to confirm what I was told…and then allowed it to sink in…and sink in it has over the last couple years…So the last time she visited Fayetteville (this was around 1999, or so), her stay was abruptly shortened and she forgot some of her belongings…my great friend packed it all up with every intention to send it to her in Pennsylvania…but the package never made it to the post office, and for the last seven years, has lived in his closet…until Saturday night when it was opened for a time of reflection…Folks, if you ever have the opportunity to do this…don't!After some memory sharing and reflection, the box was resealed and we hit the road…we drove by a few places we used to enjoy frequenting, and then drove by the home she resided in when we met…the we drove back to my place in quiet reflection, and I went to bed. What a night! But, it was one that needed to happen to finally close that chapter in my life.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I do understand the circumstances under which you passed were disturbing and tragic, but I pray to God, that you have been allowed to Rest in Peace…in Eternal Live.Danielle Lynn McBeth ~ June 12th, 2002 ~ Beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister and Woman ~Comments
