Blue and Black Beads

"Bra strap!" Jesse said playfully as he lifted me back of Abby's bra and let it snap against her back. She bent over at the waist giggling. He put his arms around her and pulled her close to him. She pulled away immediately.
"Quit it! You can't do that here!" she said laughing. She reached around to his back, pulled at his shirt and said, "Shirt!" They both laughed and enjoyed the moment they had with each other.
It was inevitable that they would find each other one way or another. They both regularly attended a Tae Kwon Do school called Piasa Martial Arts. He was a black belt and had attented the school for four years. She, on the other hand, was a beginning yellow belt, and was still very awkward with the whole Martial Arts idea. She liked the art itself, she actually really loved it, but she knew other people thought of the whole idea as.... well different. For once she was with someone that didn't judge her because she couldn't stay up on Friday nights because she had Tae Kwon Do the next morning.
They were both at a test at PMA. He was judging, and she had just finished testing. Of course, the instructor, Mr. Hatten, would never let him test her, because he wouldn't be fair. He actually tested her himself. Somehow, she still managed to pass.
Abby looked at Jesse and noticed the necklace around his neck.
"Hey," she said jokingly, "You can't wear that here. Mr. Hatten's gonna be piiiiiiissed!" He rolled his eyes, and unhooked the necklace, and pulled it off his neck. He smiled. She smiled back.
"Turn around," he told her. She looked at him with a confused look. "Just turn around. You trust me, right?" She nodded her head, and turned around. Reached his hands around her neck, and hooked the necklace into place around her neck. She smiled and held the blue and black beads between her fingers.
Two months later...
"So um," Jesse started, "You haven't like, I dont know, skipped any doses or anything lately have you?" Abby looked at him, tilted her head and giggled. "Of course not, how stupid do you think I am?"
He smiled back at her, "Just making sure. I mean... I wouldnt mind having a kid with you, but just not now."
She smiled again, shook her head, and hugged him. They held each other just like that for a full half hour. Neither one of them cared that the January air was freezing the tips of all their fingers and toes. It was still the best day either one of them had ever had.
"Can we sit down a minute?" she asked him, "I'm tired of standing." He nodded, grabbed her hand, and lead her to the opposite side of the field behind Roxana High School to where a pile of wood was sitting. He sat on a stump, and pulled her onto his lap so that they were face to face. He pulled her close, and kissed her lips.
"I love you," he whispered
"I love you," she said back. She felt herself start to fall. "Woah, let go, I'm falling!" He pulled her closer and whispered into her ear, "I got ya. Don't worry I'll never let you go." She relaxed, and let herself lean into him.
"I trust you," she said. She reached up and felt the blue and black beads around her neck.
