It started with a pen. A big, furry, yellow pen that didn’t seem to want to write and it was really starting to frustrate me. I lost patience and threw the stupid pen down at my desk. And just my luck, it bounced onto the floor with a thud loud enough to turn heads. I was easily embarrassed, but then the person sitting behind me tapped me on my shoulder. When I turned around to face him he was holding my funny pen. I grabbed it from his hand and whispered a thank you. I looked back at my paper and saw all the dry scribbles my pen with no ink had made, and sat there trying to remember what the face behind me had looked like, but couldn’t get an image. The bell rang and I tried to gather my things as slowly as possible for a chance to look at his face. And I did. I’d have to admit that he was one of the best looking guys I had seen in my life. He had soft brown wavy hair, big shiny eyes, and a nicely tight body. I was surprised by how good looking this guy was but quickly turned away as I caught myself staring a little too much as he passed me by.
I was glad winter was coming up ‘cause that meant warm fuzzy jackets, hot chocolate, possibly snow, and my favorite, a break from school with all the holidays coming up. I hated being the new kid in school and I hated my parents for moving me here, where I knew no one. The people here seemed to be unfriendly and a bit rude. Back home, I had many friends and no problem making new ones. Even though I had been in this new town for almost two weeks, I knew only one person and her name was Sarah. She helped me find my classes and my way around school. Sarah was the type of girl who liked attention and liked being noticed, especially when it came to guys. She was very pretty and had a big mouth which never seemed to shut, but she always had something interesting to say. I liked being around her because it seemed that everybody else did too, so I figured it would be a good way to make more friends.
