"Reese, I can't believe he is gone... You have to come out here!" I was near tears again as I thought of Justin leaving for work on Sunday night... I hated seeing him go but he had promised that as soon as he could he was going to move us both up there...
"Calm down, Angie, it is only for like a week and then he will be back besides me and you are going to hang out all week so you might as well clear off your couch..."
We giggled. Reese always knows what to say and I love having her around... I told her that I was going grocery shopping and for her to tag along... We planned to meet to get some food and head to the house...
Stupid us for going there hungry.. leaving with a gallon of cookies n cream icecream.. and a whole grocery cart full of stuff we did not need.. I knew Justin didn't care since he had told me to do whatever with the money.. I missed him so much but Reese was a great substitute... We made it home and started dinner...
I made the salmon while she cooked up some broccoli and rice... We played Scene it Disney and well I got my butt kicked... Justin called every once in a while to check on me and make sure the house didn't burn down.... Each time I had to snap myself out of it...
"Nu uh!" i said, "The bunny's name in bambi was thumper.."
"oh yeah!" she said, "but, a ha, the bunny's girl friend was lola."
"Why are we arguing about this?" We giggled like we were still in the 5th grade... We had been friends since forever and i can't even begin to tell you our story... that would be another 200 chapters lol.. it was awesome to have her around...
"Where did you learn how to cook salmon like this?" she chomped down on the food like she hadn't eaten in weeks...
"Family secret! If i tell you then I have to kill you!!!"
"OOO no you better not tell me then... LOL!"
"So what do you want to watch now??"
"Umm lets go out! I am anxious to see that new outfit you bought!"
I was a little leary about heading out without Justin... I know he said he didn't care but what if he did.. I am a big flirt and sometimes I get to flirty and well what i say sounds bad even though most of the time I have good intentions..
"Maybe tomorrow... Hey thats right! tomorrow is ladies night at DJs then thursdays is karoke night at Mangos..." I loved living in franklin county since it was right in the middle of everything close to us...
We both agreed that planning is better since I had to work tomorrow... We went to bed fairly early.. she slept in my bed and we talked forever until we went to sleep... Everything was like old times and it really was what I needed after Justin left...
