I was driving the long ride from work to home on a wednesday afternoon when my mom called..

"hey there stranger!" She said.. Yes that is my guilt trip mom!

"hey mom how is it at home?" this was a sensitive subject since my dad had been on the war path since I moved out... "Well i think your dad knows that you aren't coming home anytime soon and that you are an adult but he just hates that you aren't here...." I rolled my eyes...

"Ya ya so what are you doing?" I tried to change the subject.. My mom is pretty awesome and we are getting along better than ever now that we don't have to live together lol... "Well your friend Richelle called and wanted to know what you were up to..."

"Richelle, my reese cup, oh I haven't talked to her in forever... I thought she was living in Florida with her mom now!"

"No apparently she has moved home and is staying with her dad..She wants you to call her... Do you want her #?"

"Oh please ma you know I know that by heart.. I will call her right now! See ya mom and thanks!!!"

I hung up and dialed the very familiar #. She picked up on the first ring and said, "That was quick and where the hell have you been?" We both laughed and I said, "Umm hello I am not the one who move 12 hours away! So how long are you in for?"

"For good! You know how my mom is...  I can only take but so much!" I caught her up on me and Justin and made plans to invite her over.. she said that her boyfriend was military and that flashed me back to PFC Alex Jenkins. Alex is also in the military.. right before I met Justin i had been dating Alex... that was until we threw a party and got a little drunk... he took me home drunk which is a big no no!

"Angela! Angela are you there??? HELLO???"

"Ya I am here so are we hanging out this weekend??"

she promised to keep me posted and then I lost signal... Things are always funner with friends around...
