“We are secret. I am a ghost. A lot of those childhood fables are real. Vampires drink blood. Werewolves eat vampires but only by the glimmer of the moonlight. Have you ever heard of vampire love. It is supposedly a strong binding love. Similar to true love. True love never really exists. Love is only made the strongest and toughest by death. A person dead can experience true love whereas a person never having had experienced the joy and excitement of dying feels only a part or weak version of love. A vampire, or a person who had died and been resuscitated can experience this love. A ghost on the other hand has completely died the only person that can see them is the person that is their true love. You can not get out of this dangerous kind of love, and it last for all eternity and more.”

“ I lost you at vampires. How do I tell them from the average Joe?”

“If I told you you would see them everywhere” he stated plainly.

“Tell me.”

“No.”

“Tell me”

“Fine. But when you crap your pants it will be your own damn fault.”

“Spill”

“They can tolerate sun, their incisors are sharper than a human’s and they tend to eat a lot of eggs…”

“That sounds like my neighbor…”

“Probably is”

There was a rustling of the door, and my mom came crashing in. She looked at me. Shook her head grabbed something off of the counter and left. But there was one problem…
