Together Forever?[11]Authors Comments: this was one of the longest chapters to type out! enjoy!!

“Okay, okay!” I giggled. “My favorite animal is a rabbit just because you said so!” We all laughed and stuck our hands in the huge bowl of popcorn. We were in my room, munching on snacks and gulping down soda and playing the stupidest game in the world. Truth was a game where you simply asked questions and if you didn’t want to answer, you were out. I mean sure, there was always the possibility of lying but that’s what made it so devilishly fun. I took a swig of my Mountain Dew: Code Red and pondered to myself what question to ask either Dominic, or Amanda. Then, a light bulb went off in my head.
“Dominic,” I began.
“Yeah? Awe man! You’re choosing me!” Dominic whined.
I laughed, “Yup. What is your biggest turn on?” I took another mouthful of popcorn and waited for his reply.
“Well,” Dominic contemplated. “Getting naughty aren’t we?” Amanda and I hooted with laughter and nodded together.
“I’d have to say my biggest turn on,” Dom explained, “would have to be when a girl runs her fingers down my chest.” I nodded and stored that in my memory, thinking that I may need it later.
“That means it’s your turn Dominic,” I told him.
Dominic nodded and got a deep look of wonderment on his face. Then, his face lit up along with his deep blue eyes.
“What’s your favorite turn on Amanda?” he snuck a look at me and then turned to Amanda. My hopes fell. He didn’t like me after all. I looked to the ground letting my strawberry blonde bangs hide my disappointed facial expression. But, Amanda saw my face anyways.
“Um, I don’t know. I’ll have to think about that one,” Amanda bantered quickly. Dominic nodded with a cocky smirk on his face as I stood and walked out into the living room. I sat there for a few minutes by myself and then continued into the kitchen to make some more popcorn for us. As the microwave buzzed, I leaned against the sink and thought about everything that had just happened. What does this mean? I asked myself. He nearly kissed me at the pool today and now he’s hitting on Amanda? Maybe he’s trying to make me jealous. But I’m not even dating him so why would he try and do that? UGH! I jumped as the microwave rang off telling me that the popcorn was done. I took my sweet time emptying the bag of hot, steaming popcorn into the bowl and walking back to my room. I walked in and Amanda was on her cell phone talking to someone and Dominic was drawing on my desk. I set the bowl down and peered over Dominic’s shoulder.
“Whatcha drawing?” I asked sweetly, hiding the fact that I was thinking WAY too much.
“I don’t know. Just doodling,” he shrugged. Then he saw it. His phone number was on a piece of paper in the corner of my desk…with hearts around it.
“So you’ve got the hots for me, do you now?” he asked playfully while his fingertips touched my arm. I bit my lip and joined Amanda on the floor next to my bed.
‘Who are you talking to?’ I mouthed to her. She held up one finger, telling me to hold on and I nodded. Dominic was sitting where he was before, partially in my closet and partially in the huge space of my room. He was in deep thought, though I couldn’t tell what about. Amanda hung up her phone and rolled her eyes.
“Who was that?” I asked.
“Alyssa. She’s crying again because her dad’s gone,” she rolled her eyes again.
“That’s screwed up. Your dad cheated on your mom for heaven’s sakes and I don’t see you crying about it to everyone. And when you start talking about it to her, all she does is go back to how it sucks for her and blah, blah, blah. UGH! She’s really annoying,” I let the words fall out of my mouth angrily.
Amanda giggled, “Ana…settle down. Don’t rip her head off.”
“If she were here, I would,” I assured her. “Anyways,” I said more cheerily, “it’s your turn Manda.”
“Right,” she nodded. She turned to me and the devilish look in her eyes made me wary. “What’s YOUR biggest turn on Ana?”
“Oh come on Amanda! What the hell!” I joked. “Um…I would have to say when a guy kisses my neck.” Dominic looked up at me and flashed me a smile. I smiled back and blushed a bit. “Great, my turn.” I thought for a bit in silence and asked, “Amanda, what’s your favorite food?”
“Come on! You know this one!” she whined.
I chuckled, “Yeah but Dominic doesn’t so answer the question!”
“Fine,” Amanda jokingly pouted and crossed her arms. “Spaghetti.” I giggled at her facial expression and that started a huge pillow fight. I threw everything off of my bed and hid under the covers while Dominic and Amanda attacked each other with pillows.
“Hey!” Dominic exclaimed. “Don’t try thinking I can’t see you!” He whipped the blanket off of me and pulled me off the bed by my ankles. I laughed with glee and stood, hitting him with a pillow. I threw my head back and laughed. Then, Amanda hit me in the back and I fell right into Dominic’s arms. I looked up at him nervously, feeling the blood rush to my cheeks.
“Well hello there,” Dominic whispered. I blushed a deep red and lifted myself up out of his grasp. He was really warm and I turned to Amanda and mouthed, ‘HOLY SHIT!’ She laughed and we set the pillows down and continued our game of ‘Truth.’
“So Amanda,” Dominic said with his flirty tone, “it’s your turn.” Amanda nodded and laughed.
“Ana what’s your favorite food?” she giggled, punching me playfully in the arm. I laughed and Dominic pouted.
“Geez, I’m getting left out of all the fun,” he whined. I laughed even harder at that and soda blew out of my nose.
“Shit!” I screamed, picking up a dirty shirt from the corner and blotting the now stained carpeting. Dominic burst into laughter and I threw him a glare. His laughing ceased almost immediately and I picked up the shirt and stormed out of my bedroom. When I came back from the laundry room, I saw my mom talking to Dominic, nodding with a worried expression on her face.
“What’s going on?” I interjected.
“I forgot my key at the pool and have no way of getting into my house,” Dominic began explaining.
“So I told him he could stay here tonight,” my mom finished, smiling approvingly. I gulped and nodded.
I was most definitely in for the longest 12 hours of my life.
