Julia’s POV
I woke up in a hospital bed. However, it wasn’t the hospital I always remembered. The doctor rushed in. “She’s awake,” he said with an English accent.
“Where am I?” I struggled to sit up. The doctor forced her to lay back down and replied, “London. London, England.”
I nodded, sort of confused. I looked around the room, observing my surroundings. The room smelled of vanilla and matches. Then I noticed the vanilla candle burning next to my bed. Next to the candle was a leather book, some sort of journal it looked like. I curiously picked it up and opened it to the first page. It wasn’t a journal, it was a letter.
My dearest Julia,
I know you won’t remember me, but I knew you were the one from the moment I saw you. A lot has happened and I must tell you, you are now a vampire. I changed you when you almost died after our car accident. I couldn’t stand watching you lay there, full of blood, about to leave this earth without me. I can’t be there with you now because it is not safe. As a new vampire, your hunger will be strong and I won’t be able to control you. So for now my dear, you are on your own. We will meet again someday.

I felt my neck, horrified, and felt nothing. So, I couldn’t be a vampire because there were no bite marks.
Matt’s POV
I looked through the window at her as she read it, then as she felt her neck. Stupid, I thought as I shook my head and walked away. No matter how much I knew I was supposed to stay away, it only drew me closer to her, to make sure she’d be alright. I knew she could handle it herself; Julia was one headstrong young woman. But, she was the one that was chosen for me and nothing, not even her near death, would get in the way of that. As I flew off into the night I knew she would be okay until I got back. I had some unfinished business to tend to. I’d be back. But not soon enough.

Yeah I agree about the sequel! And about it leaves a lot of questions. Why no bite marks?? Is she turned?? Where is matt going haha. But can't wait til the sequel!! GREAT STORY!!!!!!!!! |

it's a pretty good ending. it leaves people wanting more, but it also leaves a few questions... like why doesn't she have a bitemark? NEwho, i think it was good. |
