Bella quickly got dressed and left Mark’s multi-million dollar mansion.

Danielle, Bella’s best friend and Derek, Mark’s best friend, had gotten married and instantly expected Bella and Mark to become the best of friends. Like that was going to happen. Bella had always despised Mark. He had always reminded her of the overbearing macho man that thinks women are weak and can’t do anything by themselves. He reminded her of her stepfather; the man who would rape and beat her mother right in front of her eyes.  She didn’t need a man to take care of her. She could take care of herself just fine.

Mark awoke to find his bed empty; the usual morning sight. But he thought that with Bella it would be different. He hated her constant feminism but she was a feisty chicka, and he liked that. Although they fought constantly, the night they made love was one of the best he had ever had. But he didn’t know that Bella was a virgin and then he realized…he hadn’t used protection. He had never lost control like that; lost control so bad that he forgot to use protection. He had ALWAYS used protection since his divorce with Colleen.

2 Months Later

“You’re pregnant?!” Danielle asked Bella, shocked. “But who did you…oh my God it’s Mark’s!”

Bella just nodded, trying to pay attention to that fact. She was happy she was pregnant. She had always wanted a child of her own; but with Mark Wischer? No way!

“What are you going to do?” Danielle asked, concerned but excited at the same time.

“I think I have to go into Mark’s office and tell him straight out,” Bella responded.
