Everything's Changing Chapter 4

"So what do you think?", asks Josh. "You're amazing. I would've never thought that you of all people actually cared about me.", Jade says dreamily. "Well I do. I always have. Jade will you be my girlfriend?", says Josh. "Of course, but we can't let my parents find out just yet considering they pretty much hate you.", Jade says sadly. "Well I'm pretty sure I have a way of fixing all of that", Josh replies cooly. "How can you possibly do that?", Jade asks questioningly. "You'll see babe. Trust me.", replies Josh. "Ok baby. I trust you. I need to head home before my parents start to worry.",Jade says sadly "Oh ok, but babe one thing before you go." He kisses her again, but softly this time. "I love you Jade.", Josh says. "I love you too Josh.", Jade says dreamily.

Jade walks in the door smiling and her mom screams,"Jacob I think Jade is on drugs!!!" "What the hell?", he yells running in the living room. "I'm not on drugs I'm just happy for once", retorts Jade. "Oh thank God", her mother sighs. "Hmmm ok I believe you", her father says suspiciously. "Well I'm gonna head to my room and do my homework", Jade says while walking away. "Ok sweetheart", her mother replies.

"Do you think she is on drugs?", her father asks suspiciously. "No but I do think she's found a guy",replies her mother. "I'll be damned if it's not that Josh boy", her fater replies irratated. "Why would you ever think that?", her mother asks. "Have you never seen the look she used to give him? From the very beginning she fell for him and I think she just realized it today.", her father says feeling ingenious. "Oh well they would make a cute couple." , her mother says smiling. "Are you mentally insane woman?", her father yells, "Think of what he put her through!" "It's only cause he cares Jacob", her mother says matter of factly," Do you remember when we first met and how you were always so mean to me and picked on me for everything?" "Yes I remember. Fine if she dates him then I won't get mad", her father replies. "Good cause if you take away her happiness I'll be so angry", her mother says hotly. "Ok woman chill", her father replies annoyed.

Jade hears a soft knock on her door. "Yes? Who is it?", Jade asks. "It's just ur mother sweetie. I wanna talk to you." "Oh ok come in", she replies. "Jade I wanna talk to you bout the boy you obviously like.", her mother says. "What what are you talkin bout?", Jade says scared. "Jade I'm not stupid I know you've fallen for a boy and I know who it is.", her mother replies softly. "Who is it then?", Jade says even more scared. "I know that it's Josh and if you both wnat to date that's fine with me and sort of ok with your father. Sweetie we're not stupid and we know how to figure things out.", her mother replies. "Seriously?", Jade replies excitedly. Her mother replies, "Yes because I think he honestly cares for you and I think that's why he said and did the things he did." "Ok", Jade replies smiling. "I love you Jade." "I love you too mom."
