 I told Neo that i'd have to be heading home because dad would be mad if i was any later. He was upset but said okay and asked if i needed a ride. I said no thanks because i wanted to clear my mind so he said okay. I gave him a big embrace and kissed him on the lips. Opening his door i walked down the damp steps. "It must of rained" i thought and walked down the steps. His dog boo was laying on the side walk and perked her ears up.

 "Hey boo" i smiled and scratched her ear then continued to their mental gate. I opened it and shut it so boo wouldn't get out. The walk home was quiet except for the occasional car driving by. My pants got wet on the bottom because of the puddles but i didn't mind. I had a lot worse to worry about, i thought about how i would tell Dad. "Hey drunken father who never gave a crap about me i'm pregnant do you care for me now?" I shook my head he'd surely be pissed.

 I heard a car slowly approaching and i didn't bother to turn around i knew who it was. "EMMA!" my friend Chris yelled. "what you doing out so early?" 

 "Walking can you gimme a ride i am tired?" i asked and he smiled and gestered me to get in the car. I climbed into the passenger seat and glanced into the back seat. "Hello Jenny" i smiled at his daughter. Chris was 16 when he and his girlfriend had Jenny, he is 18 now. Jenny's mom abandon her with him so he is a single father you can say.

 "Hallo aunty em" the little girl smiled sweetly. She called me aunty because how close me and Chris were. We used to date a while back but decided friendship was the only thing for us. He even asked me to be Jenny's godmother once i am of age. Of course i said i would.

 "My dad is going to kill me Chris" i frowned and shoved my hands into my face to shield my tears.

 "Why Emma?" he asked concerned and touched my shoulder.

 "For one i snuck out at 2 A.M. to see Neo for something important, and two, i did something that can't be hiden"

 "What Emma, please tell me" he said pulling to the side of the road so we could park and talk.

 "I am, pregnant Chris" my voice croaked.

 "Emma, your, pregnant?!" he was in utter shock. "Goody good Emma is pregnant?" his eyes bugged.

 "Yeah i know but my dad will kill me Chris and i don't know what to tell him"

 I burst into tears and he leaned over and hugged me, "Neo is the father am i right?" he asked.

 "Of course i'm not a whore!" i said.

 "I know, just making sure Emma" he said and then started to drive. "Well i will drop you off and you go tell your dad, then if something goes wrong run out side and i will bring you to my house"

 I smiled at him and he smiled back, "Everything will be okay" he said and i got out the car, and walked inside to tell my dad......
