 I screamed as a hand muffled my cries, Mr. Frayy had me. I closed my fists for i was afraid to struggle. Only, i was mistaken the police had expected him to come after me and flung into the room and took him down. I couldn't see yet, but i could hear the voices of police arresting him, and the sound of feet approaching.

 I knew them any where, "LELAND!" i cried flinging my arms in the air and felt his warm body against mine. "I thought i was going to lose you," he whispered with a cracky voice and i felt for his forhead, and kissed it. "You couldn't have gotten rid of me that easily," i joked and he laughed and hugged me once more.

 "Did they tell you if i'd ever see agian?" i asked frightful. I couldn't see his emotion but i could hear the pain in him. "The chances, aren't likely i am so sorry Nicole!" he began to cry and i held his hand in mine, and cried too. For a girl like me, who has always seen, always acted, this blindness, was truely a curse.

 Several days passed, and i had been reunited with my parents. They were so greatful that i lived, but upset that i was most likely blind. I felt the string of balloons enter my hands and hugs welcome me as i was helped out of our car. My family, along with friends such as Reba, all came to celebrate my saftey. I believe it was just to set my mind off that i couldn't see, but it didn't help.

 "Well girl, at least you wont have to read at school," Reba tried cheering me up, "But i love reading." i sighed. Her hand touched my shoulder, "I will miss you helping me pick out clothes," she sighed. "I can still use my hands!" i laughed. "Oh yeah, and hand me a green shirt and orange pants?" she laughed, "NO THANKS I'M GOOD!"

 "Boo!" Leland snuck up behind me and startled me. "Did you know i have super powers?" he joked. "I snuck up and you didn't see!" he tried lightening the mood. "Yeah but i heard you!" i laughed and he kissed me, Being blind wasn't all so bad.
