 The stars in the sky twinkled, and the moon glowed brighter then the previous nights. The wind howled through the corn fields, beyond the city. Where Jeff quietly made his way away from his house, on the farm. He had been quite down lately, for many reasons,  he knew he needed fresh air. The breeze was strong, but relaxing to him, much better then being at home with his parents. They fought often, leaving him to fend on his own while they cooled off.

 Jeff never got why his parents remained together, its not like they actually got along. Tonight his father smashed his mom into a wall, Jeff decided to stand up for his defenseless mother. He pushed his dad out the way, his dad got severely angry and punched him, Jeff was so pissed he began beating his dad, his mother cried trying to break them up. The dad and him got into a bloody fight, and Jeff ended  up storming out, he couldn't take it .

"Maybe i should head home, and make sure mom and Annie are okay" he thought to him self and turned around in the direction of the house. He took a step forward and the leaves beneath him crunched, but he swore he heard something else. He looked a little ahead of him, and by a tree, a figure stood. "Who goes there?" he called nervously assuming it was his dad or something. But the figure wasn't his dad, But Annie. "Annie?" he called to his sister, "Why are you out here?" she just tugged on her night gown, " She Sleepy!" she whined. He figured she was talking about herself.

"Okay lets go home," he said picking her up and walking towards the house. Half way there he noticed his front door wide open. "Odd" he thought as he made his way. At the steps he sat down Annie and she ran inside, "SLEEPY?" she asked pointing towards the hallway. He looked in the direction and now understoud what his baby sis mean't, his mom was laying there. "MOM!" he cried running up to her still body, blood drenched her. "MOM!" He shook her, "MOM!" His sister crawled over and bawled, "she still sleepy! mummmy wake up" He felt for a pulse, there was none.

He sat his sister on the couch, and told her, "Wait here" He ran to the phone and dialed 911, the phone didn't work. Slamming the phone he ran through the house, to see if his father was home, he knew it was probally him, no sign, he most of left......
