Midsummer.

She strolled across the park to catch a glance of the man to whom she would marry. Her eyes scanned the area until she found herself staring into the eyes of her true love Frederic Manison. Her heart felt on fire as he approached her and greeted her with a kiss of passion which she wished would never end. Gently he whispered into her ear something that made her heart pump faster, her ears felt like they would burst with excitement. Then they sealed their love with a final kiss goodbye for she would not see him until their wedding day.

With her big day approaching fast Lillian’s doubts faded for she knew the man to whom she would marry wouldn’t leave her and all would be well. However she would be stupid if she didn’t have a single doubt for she knew something deep in her heart which would change their lives forever but she had to confess this secret to her husband to be without any knowledge of how he will react.

Every knock at the door made her heart beat that little bit faster for she knew it wouldn’t be him but there was always that little piece of her the wished it was. Every time she opened the door and realised the identity was not him made her feel let down. With all her quests surrounding her showering her with gifts, kisses and helping her into her wedding dress she knew her long awaited day had arrived. The day she would become Lillian Manison.

Hearing the hooting of the car outside brought her into reality and her and her 7 bridesmaids and her little page boy stepped into the long white limousine decorated with bows as she took a deep breath to inhale all off her wondrous dream finally coming true. When they arrived at the church the surge of butterflies overwhelmed her for she had never been this nervous before and couldn’t gather her thoughts up. However she knew she had come here to marry the man of her dreams and that she was going to do that whatever it took.

She awaited the all clear from the organ and gently walked down the aisle to greet her beloved Frederic. Already the congregation was flooding the pews with tears. For she looked so beautiful in her long satin white dress, with every frill handmade with love and happiness. Greeting them appreciably the vicar welcomed everyone and prayed, prayed for happiness, prayed for peace, prayed for thanksgiving and praise but most of all that no one or nothing would break up this couple that have gathered here today.

After declaring their vows and signing the papers with church bells ringing they set off to start their new life together, as Frederic and Lillian Manison.

Finally after driving patiently down the M180 they arrived at the airport to board a plane to Hawaii for their honeymoon. He softly stroked her hair and stated his true love for her as she grew weaker and weaker at her knees. The intensity of her love made her feel like her heart was going to pound out of skin. However she couldn’t help but think this was all too perfect and she feared it may end sooner rather than later.

Whilst they were on the plane, she decided that now was the time to tell him the thing to which could change their future forever. Whether it was for good or bad, was left in the decision of Frederic. Lillian knew that this would cause tension or maybe even ruin their marriage, but hoped that he would look on the good side and overcome this with her by his side.

“Darling, I have something to tell you, which may come as quite a shock. I know I was very stupid to keep this from you but I was scared and thought that keeping it to myself would make it all disappear. I know I was in denial, but I am very sorry and I really regret that I didn’t tell you earlier. So now this is so much harder for me to tell you because I have more chance of loosing you than I did in the first place. All I ask of you is please understand that this is hard for me to tell you and I just want you to know I’m sorry. Lillian looked away as she could not bare to see the look of disbelief in his eyes.

“ Hunny , I’m sure that whatever it is we can overcome together, what can be so bad that I would leave you and do any of the other things you mentioned in that message. Lillian, you are my first love, my only love and my true love which I want to spend my whole life with. Nothing you can say can change the way I feel about you, because my love is undying and will live on through all the years of my life. You are the one that picked me up and held me up high, and I will never stop loving you.”

“Stop! She exclaimed , I can’t take anymore of this. You are making this even harder for me because, I know things will never be the same. So all I ask, is hear me out before you proclaim your love to me.

Fredrick seemed to withdraw tremendously after her strict words she had just uttered in his ears. All she had ever wanted was to have a great life, great husband and three lovely children.
