Can you keep a dirty little secret? (5)
|
We spent the next hour just talking about just about what ever we could think of. He had told me about his dad and how they don’t really get along and how his mom died when he was young. He talked about his old school in Albany and his old friends too. Even though we talked and talked we never ever got bored of each other. Before I knew it, It was five o’clock. “I think we better get going, we’ve been sitting here talking for almost three hours.” I said as I finished the last few drops if my now cold hot chocolate.“Yea maybe we should be getting home it is kinda late, and I do have some homework.”“you already have homework, you’ve only been here a day!”“Yea well I guess Mr. Richards doesn’t know that.” He laughed at his own joke, making me laugh too.He Looked around the small café and they smiled as he said “Thanks for showing me the town.” And winked at me.“No problem.” I said laughing. “Maybe I could show you the rest some other time.”“How about you show me tomorrow night?”“That can be arranged.”“Okay then tomorrow, I’ll pick you up after school around fourish? How’s that sound?”“Sounds great.” I said smiling as I got up from my chair and me and Gabe made our ways back to his car, but before we did Gabe had to stop and grab two donunts.I giggled “More food?”“What do you mean more food? I havn’t had a bite to eat since I finished my muffin about two hours ago.”“You amaze me.”“Does that mean I’m amazing?”“Yes Gabe AMAZING.” I said teasingly, But knowing that every word I spoke was true.He opened the front door to his car and ushered me in, leaving me alone in the car by myself for a few seconds, until he jumped in and started the engine.“So where’s this fair maiden’s castle?”“About a block next to the school, on Gilbert road.”“Oh I know where that is I live down there.”“Really? That’s awesome.”“Yep.” He said as he drove by the school, I stared as gabe concentrated on the roads near my house, looking for his house I would guess. We drove by the few houses at the beginning of the street. He nodded at the yellow house that sat two down from my own.“That’s my house.” He said as he drove by.“That’s my house.” Gesturing with my head just as he did.“Awsome we’re practically neighbors.”“Yea practically.” As he pulled into my drive way he suggested that maybe instead of having me walk to school tomorrow I could catch a ride with him.“Yea that would be awesome.”“okay then.” He said smiling as I step out of his car.“See you tomorrow.” He smiled as I made my way up the front steps.
