cybervixen chapter 15

The headlights from the passing cars didn’t come too often since it was only two in the morning, which made it easier for me to dose off every once in a while.  I’ve been driving for the past five hours and I’m still not even half way to Nevada.  Only stopping to piss and grab three hamburgers from Wendy’s, I’m exhausted.  Why the hell am I even going to get this girl?  I don’t even know her!  God!  Why do I have to be such a nice guy?  I was supposed to visit Leah today and hang at her house with Jason for a while.  He had called me up yesterday and told me he had just bought some real expensive shit and he wanted me to try some.  It’s so nice knowing some one who gets some incredible drugs from Cuba.  I always wonder how he gets them, he’s incredible.  Well there goes my plans.  Going to pick up some drunk, I don’t know.  Ha I don’t even know where she is.  Damn I’m pathetic.

I’ve finally gotten somewhere.  I see houses starting to appear out in the distance and I can sort of smell the smell of dried fruit.  It’s taken me a while but I’ve finally come to the outskirts of Las Vegas.  Hmmmm I haven’t been here since I was a little girl.  Once my dad died my mom had relocated to New Hampshire.  She said there were just too many bad memories here in Vegas and she didn’t want us to grow up “rembering”.  It’s like she thinks if she moves us away from the place we grew up it takes all the bad away.  Boy was she wrong.  I mean look at me, I’m half naked, in the middle of nowhere, with a possibly broken rib.  How much worse could it get?  I start to try to pick up my pace as I walk further into the suburbs of Las Vegas.  The stuccoed houses surrounded by short, spiked flower plants had become more common.  The sun hadn’t risen yet so no one but a few kids a little older then I were out.  I just passed by them like nothing was wrong.  I tried to stand up straighter but the pain was just too unbearable.  One girl asked if I needed help but I just ignored her.  I just want to get somewhere, maybe a park, where I could sit on a bench and call Justin.  Tell him where exactly I am, and have my night in shinning armor come pick me up.  What would he do once he sees me?  I wonder if he will come and give me a big kiss like I imagined our first encounter would be like.  God!  I love him so much.  I wish he would hurry and pick me up and save me from this nightmare I call my life.  

Alright, I have got to stop and rest somewhere.  I am falling asleep at the wheel and that is definitely not good at all.  I kept on driving for about 10 minutes until I came to a small town with a small motel I could stay in for the night.  I hope Angela knows she’s paying for my gas and my food and this motel because my job at Wally world can’t pay for all this and I have better things to waste my money on.   The person at the front desk looked just as tired as I did.  Her hair was dark brown and her eyes were this beautiful blue she was just about my age may be a little younger,  all I really knew was she was hot as hell.  I asked for a room and she gave me a key to room number 4.  I honestly think that that was the last room they had because this place is way too small to hold more then 5 people in it at a time.  I handed her my master card and grabbed the duffle bag I had brought with me containing the few clothes I had time to pack before I left.  I walked back out the door and made my way down a row of doors that led until the third to last door, number 4.  I hadn’t had to use the key the girl at the front desk gave me because the door was already unlocked.  I walked into the room and turned on a light that made the room feel like a doctor’s office.  The Too floral for man kind wall paper looked like mother nature had thrown up on it and the reddish pinkish bed spread that also looked the colour throw up hadn’t surprised me much.  The smell wasn’t too horrible, I’ve stayed in worse.  But it is no home.   I dropped my bag onto the floor.  And made my way to the bed just as someone knocked on my door.
