Micheal Grey chapter 2
|
I woke up in the same place I had the other day. In a sundrenched patch of grass in the midle of no where. I just layed there feeling the sun soak into my skin. The warmth heating me up very quickly. I wanted to go and find Mariana a girl I had met last time who had helped me get back home. She was beautiful. I rember she had dark brown eyes and honey gold hair. She had driven me home in a car I have never seen before. I must have fallen asleep on my way home because I had woken up in my bed the next morning.
Now as I lay here beneth the sun I think that maybe I could find sarah again. I get up from my spot on the ground, and notice I am not wearing a shirt as a cool breeze chills me. The feeling is strange. The feeling of early spring. The warm sun mixed with the melting of the cool snow. I love it. The moist ground squishes beneth my feet with each step that I take. Where am I going? I honestly have no Idea. I decide to go away from the sun, because if I go towards it I most likely will blind myself. The light from the sun is so intense, and I don't know why but I feel if I go towards it I will soon fall off the edge of THIS WORLD.
I don't know why but this doesn't feel like the real world. Like earth. But it has to be of course. But where I am now feels different then the actual world. More peaceful. More unknown. The grass seems to go on forever away from the sun. But if you face towards the sun it seems as if the world just stops. Ends. Disappears.
I walked for at least 30 minutes before I came to anything besides grass. The first tree I had seen since yesterday and it was the most wonderful thing I had ever seen. It was dream-like. A tree so beautiful it hurt to look at it. The branches twisted and turned so beautifully around eachother. new spring buds of purple were beggining to bud and the smell of dead-wet leaves were enclosing around me. I felt as if this was the tree of life. The tree of wonder and the tree of everlasting life. Not only beacuse of how beautiful the tree was but because of the stuning creature in the tree. Mariana.
"hey stranger." she said to me as I walked up to the tree and stared blankly up at her hanging from one of the twisted branches.
"Are you gonna say hi or are you just gonna stand there?"
"oh umm sorry hello Mariana."
"Hello mike." she said with a smile as big as, as forever. She swung down from the tree so swiftly I didn't even relize she had come down until she was standing beautifully in front of me. Her golden blond hair neatly in a ponny-tail on top of her head.
"So, what are you doing here tonight?"
"Tonight? I am pretty sure it is day out." I said dumbfoundedly.
"Do you rember? Mike it's tonight. Your dreaming."
