I woke up feeling absolutely great. My good dreams had left me in an amazing mood. I dressed and showered quickly knowing that the sooner I was done, the sooner I would see Amaury again.

This time on the way to school I was actually looking for the red car that was becoming all too familiar. It sat at the corner of my street with a patient looking Amaury behind the wheel. He smiled widely as I practically sprinted to the passenger's side door.

When I got there it was open for me so I slid in quickly. His immediate reaction to this was to hold out his hand for me, which I grasped eagerly. "So, how was your night," he asked casually.

"Good," was my simple answer. "How was yours?"

"Slow," he said. "I was waiting for someone to come shake me awake since yesterday was obviously a dream." He smile at me. "And right now also."

"Well I know that I'm awake so obviously it wasn't. Though I've already gone through that option myself," I replied.

"That along with the fact that vampires can't dream." He sighed and seemed to concentrate on the road rather than my face.

We pulled into the parking lot and the rest of the day sped by. It was only as Amaury was dragging me out of our seventh hour class that I caught up with myself.

"Do you mind if I stay with you again today?" I asked excitedly.

"Was that really necessary to ask?" Having said that, he leaned toward me and kissed me lips softly. "My house of yours?"

"Yours. My parents don't quite know aboutt you yet."

"Okay, my place it is," he said as he pushed on the gas pedal. "So what do you want to do when we get there?"

"I'm not sure. Anything," I said smiling. We arrived at his house and walked to his room as usual.

We sat and stared at each other for about five minutes. There really wasn't much to do, but I was spending my time with Amaury and that was all that mattered. After a few more minutes of this, he reached over and grabbed my wrist. He held it to his mouth and inhaled deeply.

"You have no idea how hard it is to be this close to you. It's just so...so...tempting." He stopped talking abruptly after looking at my face. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

I calmed my expression and laced my fingers through his. "It's fine actually. I don't mind." He looked hurt and I couldn't have that, so I leaned forward and kissed him. He responded immediately. Passion exuded from every inch of his body as he kissed me back. After a little while he pulled away.

"We have to be careful Natalya. Remember, I'm a vampire."

"You have good self-control though," I said. I quickly pecked him of the lips once more."

"Natalya...think clearly. I could accidentally kill you or change you when you are still unwilling.

"To be honest, I don't care right now." I kissed him a little deeper this time. He pulled away.

"But I do." Apparently I looked upset because he touched my face and sighed. "Maybe I have a little more control left." He smiled and I smiled back.

He was kissing my neck then and I couldn't think straight. Amaury started to pull away a little but a clutched him back to me. A few seconds later I felt a sharp stab in my neck but the pain quickly eased, as did all of the feeling in my body, and the world went black.
