After what seemed like forever, Amaury pulled away from me. I looked up, because he had pulled away, and his expression was pained.

"Natalya," he said getting up and backing away as far away as the room would allow. "Oh god, I am so sorry. That was completely unacceptable." He kept going on about how sorry he was until I closed the space between us and silenced his mouth with mine.

His arms slowly went around me as he deepened the kiss. He pulled his face away once more, but this time he kept his arms around me holding me extremely close.

"Is that honestly how you feel?" he said. I nodded my head and layed my ear against his chest to listen to his uneven breathing.

"That's good," he chuckled,"I had no idea how much longer I would have been able to hide my feelings from you." Amaury took a deep, unsteady breath. "And of course I feel the same way toward you as you feel toward me...only about ten times stronger." I finally looked up and he smiled warmly at me.

I smiled too and hugged him tightly, never wanting to let go. We stayed like that for a long time, but then Amaury cleared his throat and spoke words that I didn't want to hear.

"You should be getting home soon. Your parents will be worried." I groaned and he looked me in the eyes with obvious confusion. "What? Is something wrong with your parents?"

"No, no. I just don't want to leave. I want to stay here with you," I said shyly.

He laughed. "As much as I also would like you to stay, I really should be getting you home. Look at the clock, Natalya." I did, and I gasped out loud. It was almost 8:30. "That's what I thought. Now let's go."

During the whole ride home, Amaury didn't let go of my hand once. Our fingers just sat intertwined between us. Every few minutes I had to move my fingers to make sure he was still there.

We pulled up to my house at about 9:00 and I reluctantly unlaced my hand from his. He smiled and leaned forward to kiss my cheek and push open my door.

I almost fell while walking to the front door because I was still slightly dizzy from tonight's events. I tripped on my way up the stairs so I could go to be alone in my room. Pulling out my cell phone I saw, to my suprise, that I had twenty-three missed calls. Jeez Kristan! I dialed her number and sat on the bed as the phone rang once...twice...

"Hello?" I heard Kristan's voice answer before the third ring.

"Hey. Sorry about missing your calls. I had my phone on vibrate and I was at Amaury's again."

"Are you sure you and Amaury aren't going out? It sure seems like it, and you two would make such a cute couple!" she told me.

"Well actually, Kris, I am going out with him now. While I was over there, he kissed me." I smiled as I said the last statement.

She squealed like a pig. "No way, Nattie! You're actually going out with Amaury Nix?"

"Mhmm..."I said trying to bring a close to the conversation that I hated myself for starting. "Well, I'm tired Kristan, so I'm going to go to sleep. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Kay, bye," she said and hung up. I closed my phone and layed back on my bed. I unlaced my shoes and took off my hoodie. After I threw them into a corner, I adjusted my pillows and blankets and layed back once more.

Shortly after, I drifted into a sleep filled with dreams. Dreams about becoming a vampire and being with Amaury forever.
