Ok so personally I think this part is kinda slow and slightly boring...but to make it up to you guys, I'll have part 9 up tomorrow.    -Tara

The next morning, I woke up feeling absolutely horrible. I hadn't gotten much sleep due to the dreams I was having. My shower felt nice. It was relaxing, but I spent the whole time thinking about what I would say to Amaury at school.

I slowly got dressed and went downstairs to get breakfast. When I finished, I pulled on my hoodie and shoes and began my two mile trek to school.

While I was walking, I periodically glanced over my shoulder. It seemed that every times I did, there was a red car behind me. Also, it wasn't just any red car, it was the same red car everytime. Was it following me? I quickened my pace and as a response I heard the car's engine quietly revv. A wave of paranoia hit me.

It wasn't until about the tenth time I had glared over my shoulder at the car that I decided to see what the driver looked like. After concentrating on the figure for awhile, I realized that my "stalker" was none other than Amaury himself.

As I processed this in my brain, he pulled up to drive slowly next to me. He rolled down the window and I was the first one to speak.

"God Amaury, you really scared me."

"Hello to you also," he said laughing lightly. "It took you awhile to fingure out who was following you."

I let out a sigh of relief. "I was just thinking," I replied. He looked at me with a puzzled look on his face but then spoke shortly after.

"Well would you like to ride with me the rest of the way? Or you could walk the rest of the way in the rain if you wish."

"Actually, I quite enjoy the rain, but I'm going to be late. I would love to ride with you," I said reaching for the handle.

I stepped into the cozy car and immediately loved my decision to ride with him. I shivered violently and shrugged off my wet hoodie. The car's heater quickly warmed me.

"So," he began,"How was your night?"

"Ehh...it wasn't exactly what I would call good," I said while looking at the floor.

"Why is that?" he asked with such curiosity that it made me look up.

His intense gaze forced the truth out of me. "Well...I had dreams about yesterday, so I didn't get much sleep. It seemed like I hurt you yestersay and I guess my conscience made me feel bad."

"Oh..." he said. By this time we were already pulling into the parking lot. "About yesterday," he said with a soft voice. "I'm so sorry for making you feel bad. I just had hoped that when I found you, you would understand and stay with me."

I couldn't think of a response. "We had better be getting to class," he said. He got out of the car. I opened my door and stepped into the rain. Amaury met me at the front of the car and we walked toward the school building.

As were walking, Amaury took my hand. He wasn't trying to persuade me, was he? As much as I wanted to deny it, I knew that I let him hold me hand because I liked it.

"Oh! Nattie!" Kristan was running toward us. I quickly untangled my fingers from Amaury's and smiled.

"Hey Kristan." I glanced at Amaury and he was smiling too.

"Where were you yesterday? I was trying to call you all day, but your phone was off." She looked excited and disappointed at the same time.

"I was..." I hesitated, not wanting to tell the truth about where I truly was. "I was busy," I finished lamely.

"Oh...well let's go! We're going to be late," she said while she hooked her arm with mine. Looking back I smiled apologetically at Amaury who smiled back. I then continued running to first hour with Kristan.

Ok so like I said, this one was kind of boring. I also said that I would have part 9 up tomorrow, but while I was typing I was also thinking. I'm going to wait until this has 10 votes. That's a little high but if you wanna read the next one...   -Tara

(Who's excited for The Host and Breaking Dawn???? Two weeks until The Host! There's still a long way until Breaking Dawn and I can't wait! Also, I can't wait until the Twilight movie!)
