Ok so this part is going to be from Amaury's point of view. I just thought about it and thought of a whole bunch of ideas and wrote them down so...here it is. ENJOY!     -Tara

I walked into the school that I would be attending. Kai, the one who had made me immortal, decided to make me come here until he figured out where we could go next. Why was Kai forcing me to attend a mortal highschool? I already knew everything the humans were taught here. Oh well, I would just have to deal with it.

I had already missed my first class, so I slowly walked  to my second one, dreading how boring this day would be. As soon as my foot came through the door, the old woman at the front of the room began ordering me around. I was going to hate it here.

"Hello Amaury. You can go sit in that empty seat," she said, pointing to the only empty seat in the room. A positively petrified looking girl sat next to that seat and she wouldn't stop staring at me. I began walking to the table and when I was about half way there, she was still looking at me.

I smiled at her and she looked down, blushing. That blush. Her blood. Oh, her blood smelled so good! I was tempted to sink my fangs, which had fully extended themselves, into her throat. How good that sweet, sweet blood would feel and taste running down my throat.

Since I didn't want to cause such a scene, I got out a piece of paper and proceded to write down every word the teach said. The girl across the table started laughing. I could tell by the way she laughed that she was going to annoy me. Also, I couldn't stop myself from glancing periodically at the beautiful mortal next to me. For the rest of the class period, I fought with the inner beast that threatened to force its way out and completely exsanguinate the innocent young girl next to me.

The bell rang causing me to jump a little in my seat. The girl got up quickly and tried to hurry out of the classroom. I hadn't even gotten the chance to speak with her yet. I grabbed her arm to prevent her from getting away. Trying to think of an excuse as to why I held her there I said,"Hello. My name is Amaury. I have a feeling we will be sitting in these seats for awhile. It would be nice to get to know you a little more. What was your name again?"

I held my hang out as a friendly gesture. She took hold of it and looked up into my eyes. She was so warm! I didn;t want to let go, but her voicebroke me out of my trance.

"N-Natalya," she said in a terrified voice. Natalya, I thought, what a pretty name. Unwillingly, I took my hang away from hers. It now tingled with the left over warmth her body provided.

"It's my pleasure to meet you, Natalya." I couldn't stop myself from saying her name. Wouldn't it be great to have a mortal friend to know me for what I truly was? I wouldn't have to keep any secrets from them. Natalya was perfect. I was going to have to figure out a way to tell her what I was.

I followed her to her locker where she grabbed a notebook and folder. Imagine my excitement when I learned that the rest of our classes were the same. We walked to our third class and everyone was staring intently in my direction. I barely noticed though, because Natalya was all I could think about.

She walked to an empty table and put her things on top of it. I quickly pulled out her chair and mine. As she sat down, I noticed the discomfort on her face. "Is something wrong? You look as if you've seen a ghost or something."

Natalya seemed to think before she spoke next. "No, nothing is wrong. I just get a little nervous when I see..." she trailed off in mid-sentence. Was it possible? Did she somehow already know that I was a vampire? Impossible.

"When you see what?" I asked hoping that somehow she knew.

"Nothing. Nothing at all." She looked over at my face. Her eyes were like oceans. They contrasted perfectly with her red hair and pale skin. It took awhile to be able to take my eyes from hers, but I did.

The rest of the school day was extraordinarily  boring and uneventful. After school however was a different story. "So, where is your car," I asked her as we walked into the parking lot.

"Well, I haven't gotten my license yet. I was planning on walking home actually," she said sheepishly.

"Well then I can give you a ride if you'd like," I said hopefully.

"Alright," she said, staring at the ground.

As I turned on the car, I had forgotten that I had been listening to music on the way to school and it blasted through the speakers. I looked over at Natalya. The sweet scent of her blood was unbearable in the confined cab of my car. I moved toward her and sniffed the air. Before I got control, I found myself holding her wrist to my lips. Right before I sank my fangs into her flesh, I came back to my senses.

I sped out of the parking lot and within five minutes, we were pulling into her driveway. Unable to resist, I leaned toward her again but abruptly came back as I saw her freeze.

"Tell me what's bothering you," I said in the most seductive tone I could manage.

"No, I don't feel like talking about it," she said firmly.

I was going to have to try harder. Gently taking hold of her lower jaw, I said,"Please?"

In a rished voice she then said,"I just don't know how you will react. I'm scared you might not talk to me if I tell you."

"You don't have to worry about that," I said, releasing her jaw from my grip. "Please tell me. I feel like I have to know. I'm not sure why, but-"

"I know what you are," she interrupted.

"What?" I couldn't believe my ears. She did know after all!

"I know what you are. I know that you are a vampire." A slow smile crept onto my face as the words left her perfect lips.
