Vampires.
That word has always fascinated me along with all other words you might associate with it. Vrykolakes, fangs, blood lust.
About two years ago, when I was 14, I had even joined a cult. It was pretty cool at first, being able to talk to people who understood me. I had immediately backed out though when some of the other members wanted to change out "drinking" habits. The idea of drinking blood from someone I had never even met before was utterly revolting.
I know that vampires and vrykolakes exist. I can feel it in my body when they are near me. I consider it a sixth sense. Although I know they are all around me, I never thought that I would actually meet one. Until now...
