As I walked into my house, I looked into the living room and saw my little brother Freddy sitting on the couch watching tv. "Freddy, did you do your homework yet?" I said, playfully rubbing Freddys bald head. Born James Fredrick, he went by Jimmy untill their mom left, when evey time someone would call him that he would cry, because his mom gave him that nickname, so now he is Freddy. "Yeah 'Randa, I actually did, I know my school started a whole week ago, but the teachers have been going really east on us, it's great, especially because I have another treatment at the hospital coming up this week."

"Oh yeah, I might have to be the one with you at the hospital again, you know how busy dad gets." I responded, looking sympathitically down at my little brother. The cancer had really taken a tole on him. His hair had fallen out from his many treatments, and he had dark circles under his eyes from staying up late at night worrying, may night of which I was up with him.

"Yeah I know," responded Freddy "Dad told me when he called earlier anyways, he was looking for you too, but I told him your were too busy walking around with that amazing guy from next door. He laughed, but 'Randa I gotta tell you that guy you were with is amazingly super stunning. Does he have a little brother for me by any chance?"

I laught for a little bit at my brother, he kept such a great attitude no matter what had happend to him in his life. He was openly gay too, which was so fun while we were watching movies. Our taste in guys was different, but when a really hot guy was around, we both couldn't help but stop to stare. I felt bad though, because he was so frail and, i hate to say it, because he was gay, he got picked on alot at our old school. Here, he seemed to actually be making alot of new friends. I responded to his last question with a simple " Dunno", laughed again, and walked up to my room.

When I reached my room, I took of my shirt I had on that day, and took off my jeans, walking over to my closet to get some pajamas. I picked out a pair of green pants, with little cows on them, and a plain white tee-shirt. I walked over to my bed and dropped the pants down on it while I was putting on the shirt. When I looked up, I saw Zeth, muscles and all, walking down the hall after what looked like getting out of a quick shower. He had his towel around his waist, and was trying his hair with what looked to be a hand towel as he walked down the hall. I couldn't believe his bedroom was the one right across from mine, and we could see in each others windows. Of course, at that time, he looked up and saw me looking at him. I looked down, and realised he could see me in my underwear as easily as I could see him in his house. He smiled a bit, and walked over to his window. Smiling again, he gave me a joking wave, and shut the blinds down on his window. Right after he did that, I got up and shut my window blinds too, and quickly pulled on my pj pants. My phone buzzed a few second later, and it was a text from Zeth.

"Hey Miranda, know what's a great thing I didn't tell you about California?"

"What?" I responed.

"The views that we get from our windows."

I replied with a simple text smile, which he replied to with a kissing face. I chuckled, and plugged my phone in for the night. I climbed into to bed, and though about the day I had just had, and the day that was to come, before the deap powers of sleep took me into a world when none of it mattered.

Wow, I am so sorry this took so long to post. I tried to write a good sized chapter this time to make up for it being so late!
