- Prologue—
- His name was Sin—at least that’s what I called him—but he was known as ‘Thirteen’; as “Black Cat”. He brought bad luck in the form of one, glistening, bullet. Apparently he was some legendary assassin, the best in his agency and all of South America; some of Europe. I’ve never met anyone with such an ego in my entire life; mind I’m 22. I made the mistake of preventing him of killing someone once. Never again will I try such a risky act. He even said if I did it again, I might as well be asking for death.
- “No mission goes undone or incomplete” he said to me one day, and then his gaze shifted to meet mine. “...Except you.”
