CHAPTER 1 : Summer's gone too fast
Many times in Kylie's life she wished she could be like the other girls in school. She was not popular and she was not a skinny minny. Kylie was about to be in the 10th grade and yes she had boyfriends before but none that lasted like her friends relationships.
Kylie had two of the best best friends a girl could hope for. Ciara which of whom Kylie knew the longest they had been best friends since they were old enough to go on themselves. And then there was Conner he came to our shcool when we were in the 6th grade. They both always helped Kylie when she was sad or mad they held her back from many fights too! They were together every day this summer!
Kylie why do you always get that dreamy look when Mick walks by I don't know what you see in him actually I don't know what both of you see in him said Conner. Well Conner don't get your pannies in a wad dang we may not be able to touch him but you can't stop us from looking at his fine..said Ciara.Don't even finish that sentence Ciara, Conner said. Any way he's gone now what do you guys want to do today? Asked Kylie. HHHMMM we could.......fly to the moon or stalk your wanna be man said Conner. Conner I don't know why your so mad Kylie said. I'm not its just all the girls in school do exactly what you two do when he walks by, Conner said. Well I don't know about you guys but I could sure go swimming right now it's hotter than a Mick on a good day! Said Ciara. Ok lets go swimming but no more talk about Mick so we don't upset Conner Kylie said. Thank you thats all I ask! Conner said.
Hey stop dunking me I hate when people do that , Conner lee if you do that one more time I'm gonna well use your mind. Said Ciara. Oh stop being a big baby Ciara you gotta losen up and have fun! Kylie said as she dunked Conner. Ok Ok lets stop Kylie for Ciara! Conner said. Are you sure you want to stop for Ciara or are you tired of getting dunked by a girl? Asked Kylie. Oh you know it thats why I want to stop Kylie. Conner said. I do know, thank you for confirming it! Kylie said. Well that was fun what are we doing tommorow? Asked Ciara. Why don't we........Conner was saying. Don't even say fly to the moon or go and stalk your wanna be man or else Ciara and Kylie said in unison. Ok, Ok man you guys should lighten up! Conner said, as they were all laughing.
The next day they would not have expected what was going to happen. They all met up in the same place they have been meeting for 4 summers now, which was at the coffee shop down the road from Kylie's house. Hey lets go to that creepy old house said Ciara. Oh you'll go there but you don't liked to be dunked wow said Conner. ok lets go unless your too chicken Conner! Said Kylie. I'm not chicken I'll go said Conner. They walked to the house and it was about 3 miles from the coffee shop. This house was most definately creepy, once you reach the road to the house it's a half of a mile to it. And when you reach it you see the 3 story house, broken shudders, old and rusty paint chipping, vines covering almost all of it, and a whole bunch of cats haning around it. The cats would not ne a big deal if they weren't all black. Kylie and Conner did not believe in the whole black cat, bad luck thing but Ciara did. Guys maybe we should go back thats a sign. Ciara said. Ciara you were the one who wanted to come here you can't just chicken out now. Kylie said. Yeah Conner said. Please guys lets just go Ciara said. No Conner and Kylie both said. Come on lets just look inside for a minute or two then we will know if it's scary, Conner said. Ok but If I get scared I'm leaving, Ciara said. When they opened the door it screeched really loud and the cats al finally turned in their direction. All of theor eyes look like they're saying "I wouldn't do that if I were you", I don't know why but thats what they look like Ciara said. Oh come on lets go Conner said. They walked in the house and you could tell this was not a friendly house. Each step they took the floors screeched. There was dust all over the place. BAM the door shut. Ciara ran to the door. It won't open she said. Come on stop being a big baby. Connersaid as he tried to open the door. Ok seriously Kylie it won't open. See i told you the cats, it was bad luck Ciara said.
