Once upon a time
my brother & sister started a band
named m&m because it was the're
favorite candy plus the're names
Are Michael & Michelle so they dressed
Up as m&ms to come to my party.
All the kids enjoyed the show
We all got up & started singing & dancing
along, it was fun they made us feel like
we were part of the're band as we danced
And sang along.
Mom & Dad filmed the whole show
Because it was like a once in a life time
Performance, everyone enjoyed the show
being they were just starting out & me
& my family were the first to see them live
In front of a group of people.
We had drinks of all flavors &
snacks before dinner for family & friends
we had surprise gifts for everyone
So no one felt left out it was my big day
& my brother & sister made it special for me.
After the party everyone stayed
The adults had alone time
well we had fun playing outside
we played so much at the end of the day
we were all tired & ready for bed
but we knew we had to help clean up
everybody had a job so nothing
Was left out of place.
Later on that night I thanked
My Mom and Dad & told them
I loved them both to show them
how much fun I had on my special day
the m&m band lived on in our memories
though they never did any other shows
After this.
We all became closer knowing if it's
You're special day someone will make it
special no matter the cost money don't always
make something fun it's the thought that counts
That makes it even better.
I've learned a lot from my family on that day
But my favorite part was the m&m band &
dancing with all my friends & playing together
On my trampoline & swingset many hours pasted
& everyone went home.
It was getting late So I decided to get dressed
for bed because I had school the next morning
& I didn't want to be tired I mean to tired
To tell my friends all about my special day.
The next morning I woke up for school
I was so excited about telling the class
About all the fun I had I was rushing
Myself to get every thing together including
The story I wrote about it.
My teacher let me share my story
with everyone in the class
they all listened to my story & asked
questions about it later
I was happy to answer them all being
that I couldn't wait to share my story with everyone.
After class we had lunch
we all sat together & ate some of us
had to wait till everyone was ready to go outside
For recess, we played like we were the m&m band
Outside it was really fun pretending to be singers.
Other kids watched & wondered why we
were acting as if we were the m&m band
but not everyone knew the story behind it all
The m&m band was really special to me.
Because my little Brother & sister
made the band up & dressed up & sang
on my big day to make things fun and keep
everyone dancing & singing along.
After recess we all went back to class
& finished up the day till school was over
& we could go home & tell our parents about
us pretending we were singer at lunch.
Mom & Dad just laughed
& said I'm glad you're special day
was that important to you as well as
all your friends just think everyday is special
when your sharing them with friends...
