Moonlight (Part 2)

“That’s a weird name,” He stood up and put his hand out, “I’m Chris”

“Okay now would you mind explaining all of this.” I put my hands out and swept them around to show the whole room. He half smiled.

“It’s a long story.”

“Well what time is it?” Jessie looked at her watch.

“About 5 a.m.”

“Okay we have time.” Jessie smiled and her whole face lit up. I couldn’t help but smile back. She walked over to the door and hit a light switch causing the whole room to light up. Then she got up and walked over to the far wall (the one across from the door) and ran her hands along the wall. Soon her fingers ran over a little hole and she pulled down a table big enough for four. “What’s up with all the metal and how did you get the room so big.” I asked. She looked at me and smiled again.

“There was a few storage areas around here that no one was using so I asked for them and they gave them to me. I cut down the walls and presto big room. It’s all metal because I just remodeled it so he could live here without breaking anything else.” Chris glared at her and she laughed.

“I thought you had no siblings.” Jake said.

“Just give me a second and I’ll explain.” She said as she reached into the wall a little further then the table and pulled open a door. Inside their were rugs, chairs, a tv, and a lot of books on a bookcase. All of it was on wheels. She pulled out the chairs and put them next to the table. “Is anyone hungry of thirsty?” She asked.

“I’ll take a coke.” Chris said as he started taking some rugs out of the room and putting them on the ground. Jessie walked over to the wall to the right and pulled open another door. Thos one had a fridge and freezer inside. She pulled open the fridge and threw two cokes over to Chris. He put them on the table.

“What about you guys?” Jake got up.

“What do you have?” He said smiling and she smiled back.

“We have orange juice, apple juice, fruit punch, Pepsi, coke, root beer, and orange soda.”

“I’ll have a root beer. Kit what do you want?”

“Same.”

“Okay.” She pulled out two root beers and closed the fridge then she walked over to the table.

“You know you can move away from the wall right?” He said laughing. “It’s not like I’m going to bite you.” He laughed even more. I loved the way his whole face lit up when he laughed. And his smile was so perfect. I shook my head. I was not going to fall for this kid. I rolled my eyes and stood up. He started pulling chairs out of the little room and pushed them up against the table. I sat down in the chair in the corner. Chris sat down across from me. “You don’t talk much do you?” It wasn’t a question.

“Where would you get that?” I said raising one eyebrow. He rolled his eyes and laughed.

“Right.” He said as Jessie and Jake walked over and sat down. I half smiled and leaned back in my chair.

“So explain.” I said after a moment of silence.

“So I turn into a monster when the sun sets, nothing weird about that right?” Chris said smiling. Jessie rolled her eyes.

“Okay seriously you guys have heard of the four elements right?” Jessie said

“Yeah, water, fire, earth/ground, and air right?” I answered

“Yeah, do you know the standard elements?”

“There’s weather, mind, light, and darkness.” I answered feeling smart Jamie nodded.

“You got most of them right but you’re missing one. It’s called the element of beasts. It’s pretty much where you can control what animals do and you can understand what their saying.” Jamie said.

“Okay?” I said

“Yeah our parents were scientists studying penguins in Antarctica. Jess was three I was one. There were seven kids there. The oldest one was seventeen so they had left us in the igloo with him. While they were outside looking at one of the penguins when out of nowhere came a man with some sort of disease. He was vomiting blood and talking crazy saying things like ‘the world is coming to an end’ and ‘were all going to die.’ Stuff like that. Well they unfortunately felt bad for the man so they took him back to the igloo house thing we were living in. He bit me and I few other kids along with my mom and dad. All the people without the element of beasts turned into a crazy guy like the man but the people with the power of the beasts, which were most of the people are like me. Mom had ice power so she went crazy. Dad shot her then himself. It depends on how we feel during the day if it’s a worse monster we turn into or a better one. Like if I have a good day I’ll probably just change how I look but it’ll still be me. If it’s a worse day stay away from me for the night.”

“Wait so you've turned into monsters since you were, like, one?” I asked

“No, it started on my eighth birthday. I was in an orphanage and soon after I was sent here. Jess was already here but I was sent to live in a jail cell at night and during the day go to school. The other day they let me come over here if the room was all metal, and it is, but look at where that got me.” He smiled at me.

Ok so last time i posted i was late for something so i didn't get a chance to type this. This story is Monster Boy (What i posted before) but it is edited ALOT and it has a new name so if u were confused, there you go. Please comment and rate if you like it. I enjoy comming on here and seeing comments and rates. The last one was pathetic but im posting this for the few people who like it. Im not very far in this story yet so im not goimg to regularaly post. Enjoy
