Tears ran down my cheeks as I saw the two pink lines on the test. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! I took a deep breath to try to calm my nerves, but it didn't work. I slowly walked to the bathroom that was connected to my room and went over to the sink where I threw a doulche of cold water on my face. Although it was cold it was refreshing to my nerves and helped to calm my nerves.
'Okay Jenny, stay calm and collected and cope. You're good at that, just try to cope', I chanted quietly to myself. I threw the pregnancy test in my waste bin and threw papers in the waste bin to cover up the pregnancy test.
I walked back into my room and fell onto my bed. The phone that stood on my bedside table rang and after three rings I relunctantly picked it up.
'Hello', I said, trying hard to keep my voice sounding steady.
'Hey Jen.... you alright?', a male voice said on the other line'.
I quickly sprung up to a sitting position on my bed.
'Oh, Hi Brandon.', I said, my voice still wavering but calming down a bit. "Can you meet me at the Starbucks around the corner?"
I hung up the phone quickly before he could object or ask questions then I got up from my bed, ran downstairs, and quickly walked out the front door.
Brandon deserved a right to know, so it was either now or never that I'd tell him.
I decided on now.
