Destiny: Chapter 3 - The Harmful Truth.
|
Softly opening her eyes, Sabrina turns around. She sees that Amy is the one holding her, she sighs. A smile forms on her face as she curls up in her arms. Falling back asleep to Amy's warm-flowery-scent. Watching her sleep, peacefully.. Amy gently strokes Bree's hair and rubs her back. Whispering in the softest voice she could make. "Sweetie.. Are you awake?" Looking up into Poky's eyes, she smiles. "Yeah, I'm awake.." "Okay, good. Now I'm gonna take a shower." Getting up and heading to the bathroom, she leaves Sabrina behind.
Putting on her clothes. Sabrina goes down stairs, rubbing the top of her brothers head. Mrs. Hellwrath waves to her daughter and holds up a plate of Breakfast. "Are you hungry, sweetie?" Shaking her head no, Sabre just walks outside for a moment then comes back with the news-paper. "Hey, kiddo! Mind handin' me the sports section?" Her father calls out to her. "No, dad. I'll read it first.. God!" She runs back upstairs. Just before she shuts the door-- A letter falls out of the News-Paper. "For Sabrina" is all it says on the front. Leaving the morning-paper on the side table. Sabre goes back to her room. Locking the door. She opens the note up and reads it. "Hi, Sweetie.. Come meet me at the park, today. Around 3 O'clock. I'll be waiting on the bench and by the water fountain.. Don't be late-- Yours truly.. Lucas. <3 P.S.. Come alone." A small rose petal fell out from the envelope. Angry and confused. She crubbles the note into a ball and throws it away. She tries to shake him out of her mind. Taking a deep breath. "So chick.. Who's that from?" "Oh! N-No one.. It's nothing." Putting her skirt back on and her tank-top. Amy gets started with her makeup.
After finishing getting ready. Amy and Sabre go down stairs. Leaving the house they take a walk together. Holding hands. "Hey.. Umm. Amy?" "Yeah, sweetie?" Stopping for a moment, looking at Amy. Sabrina gets a little nervous. "I just remembered.. I have something to do today. And it's sort-of personal.. So yeah. But we can hang out 'till 3 O'clock, okay?" "Hehe, sure.. Omg, can you believe Kevin and I have been going out for a year?!" Amy squeals with delight. Kevin has been her boyfriend for along time. And even though Amy and Sabrina are more into guys. They sometimes sneak away and to romantic hide-aways. Just because they are taken by their boyfriends.. Doesn't mean that can't be secret lovers! (Yes, I know! Shocking. o_o)
Amy and Sabrina spent most of the day Ice-skating and watching a movie. But now it was nearing 3 O'clock! They hugged and said goodbye. Amy left Sabre alone as she requested.. Will she really go and meet up with Lucas? Or will she just continue her day with her Best-Friend?
"Hi.. So. Here I am.. What did you want with me?" Deciding to meet up with him.. She sat down on the bench and stared at him. His glossy-dark eyes as wonderful-looking as they were the other times they've met. "Glad your here, Sakura.. I've been watching you for months. And it's about time that you started knowing the damn truth.." Lucas sighed and looked away from her for a moment. "What are you talking about? The truth about what, Lucas?..An-And why did you call me Sakura? My names Sabrina.." Holding her breath and looking at him. Her eyes are large and filled with fear. "Listen to me.. You're-- No wait. Answer me this first.. Do you see weird things? Do you dream of another world with Demons, Fairies, Angels, Warrior's and Monsters?" She gasped and looked down. "H-How did you know?" "Saku-- Sabrina.. Your real birth name is Sakura Luna SeiTenshi. You are an Angelic-Warrior that is destined to protect our world. Not this one.. But another one. The one you see in your dreams, is our world.. And as you can see. It's being destroyed. And now you need to step up and begin your training.. Before it's too late." Slowly he reached for her hand, holding it in his own and looking her directly in the eyes. "No way.. That can't be true! Stop lying to me, just stop it all!" Sakura (As been told, her real name) Pulled her hand away, narrowing her eyes at the ground. "Sakura! Stop it.. Why would I come all this way, if it wasn't true? At birth your parents sent you to earth to be protected.. It was a stupid mistake. Considering that by blood you are our princess.. Our savior. You need to understand.. Come with me." He grabbed her hand, except for this time a spark flew. Magic was building up between them. A big flash of light blinds them.. They're gone.
Appearing in front of a Large-Darkly clouded Kingdom. Sakura gasps at what she sees: Fairies being chained up as slaves.. Angels lying dead on the ground. The Kingdom is closed off and issolated.. Not a living soul is inside. "What's all this.. What's going on?" Her voice is low and weak. "Calm down, Saku.. This.. This is what has become of our home. Horrible, I know.." Softly he strokes her hair, reassuring her. His arm is wrapped tightly around her. "Close your eyes.. And count to 10. We'll be back to earth in just a moment." Her eyes were closed tightly. Holding her breath and biting her lip. A warm tingling sensation comes over them. Another blinding light came with it..
Back at the park. The birds are loud and noisy. Children are running and playing. "It's okay now. You're safely back home, Saku." Lucas hugged her and then let her go. Sakura opened her eyes. Never had she been so happy to see everything back to normal. "Oh.. My god. I can't believe it! Everything you told me.. Was true?! I..I.. I.." Speechless and still in shock. She clung herself to him. He laughed and softly pushed her away. "Shhh.. It's okay. But I need to head off now.. But you know my number; so when you need me, gimme a call." He smiled at her softly.. But before walking away. He grabbed her back up, kissed her on the mouth and then let her go. "Bye-bye.. Sakura." "Wa-Wait.. Next week.. Is summer vacation.." She was blushing deeply and she looked down. "Is that so..? Well, then next week.. We'll begin your long and hard training.. But untill then.. Enjoy your life as it is now.. Because once we start. Nothing will be the same."
Flushed and scared, Sakura ran home. How could any of this be true? None of it made sense.. And yet. She couldn't very well just forget about what she saw. What she felt.. And when Lucas kissed her? This wasn't supposing to be happening, she though. She was a normal girl.. Going through puberty. Trying to get Josh to go out with her! And when her chance finally came.. She blew it.
Arriving home. Sakura ran inside, past her brother and went upstairs. Closing and locking her door. She laid in her bed, sobbing. All night long she cried into her pillow. Skipping dinner and forgetting about her brother's baseball game.. Sakura had cried so much that she threw up a few times. So she went in her bathroom and took 4 sleeping tablets.. Falling asleep. Saku knew she was doomed to dream those thoughts, again.
