I can almost not believe this.For the past 3 days I'v been trying to make sense of everything.It's almost..to horrible to be true.Sam was in the hospital the past couple days.See she went to brets house sunday night,and she was all bloody and bruised,and bret called me,and I went as quickly as I could.You could tell it took her a long time to get there because she was shivering.We took her to the hospital and she told them someone raped her.And she told me,It was micheal.That explains why he was acting so weird.She had a rape exam and they confirmed it.Micheal was arrested yesterday and he is waiting for a trial.I just..can't believe any of this is happening.Here I thought I had enough troubles with my friends.Bret is taking it pretty hard.I mean,Sam was his girlfriend for 3 years,and for his best friend to do something like that...It's horrible.Sams really broken up about it to,which is totally understandable.And her mom is still making her move to utah so they can all 'get closer'.What sam needs right now is a friend,not her idiot parents.I don't really want to bring up living at my house,because I still am going to prom with bret,and I don't want to make things hard for her,And micheal..well I'v lost all faith in my hopes.I really liked him..and I never even saw it coming. How could he do this to her! She never did anything to him! As far as I knew he didn't even like her! Gosh. This makes everything horrible! Just when things were getting normal. I don't think jane even knows yet. She's been in virginia with her dad for about a week now. maybe a little less. I should call her. I'm going to right now.

20 minutes later.

That when terribly as well. She called me a slut and said I made the whole thing up to get back at her for 'stealing my man'.I told her I never would joke about something happening to sam. She just hung up, So I called bret for moral support. And he said sam was at his house and he couldn't talk. But he did say that he offered sam to stay at his house till things cleared up. And she said yes, So now she's staying there, and I'm jealouse as fire. Does that make me awful?
