Terri spilled everything to Claire as soon as they got on the bus. "No!" she said. "He didn't! That's just don't right. . .ugh!!" She was pretending she hadn't seen any of it so that it would be less embarrassing for her friend.

"It was weird. . ." said Terri. "His lips were warm and squishy yet firm. I've never kissed anyone before and he stole my first kiss! Things can't get any worse!" Yet, how wrong she was. . .

"So are you gonna help me or not?" asked Cody.

"I don't know," said Chris, rubbing the back of his neck. "She doesn't like me all that much after what happened." He wasn't going to say it, for it was better just to forget anything happened.

"You can just make sure we are always on the same team. . .!" he said. "That's all you have to do and I'll figure it out from there!" Chris sighed and nodded. "Yes!" said Cody jumping for joy. "Thanks man!"

Chris climbed into his mom's car and waved by to Cody who waited for his own mom. When she finally came, he climbed in and went off to his own house.

Terri wiped the sweat off her brow from the morning practice she was doing. She had asked her mom to drop her off early so that she would be able to get in on the whole game before school started. She smiled when she saw Chris and Cody arrive. She kicked the ball at them.

Cody stopped it with his foot and kicked it back. Terri picked the ball up and ran over to them. "So are we playing another game again this morning?" she asked.

"Don't we always?" said Chris grumpily. Terri glared at him as Cody spoke up, "Yeah, you in?"

Terri threw him the ball. "I wouldn't be here if I wasn't willing to play," she said as Cody caught the ball, a goofy grin on his face. "Want to practice until everyone comes?"

Chris shrugged. "Fine by me!" he said. "But I start with the ball!"

Terri rolled her eyes. "Fine!" she said running out to the middle of the feild while Cody dropped the ball by Chris' feet and followed.
