I no sooner got into the class when the teacher stopped me at the door. "Kyle!" she said. "You were picked to write in this notebook. It's a school project. If you do you get extra credit."

Geez, these teachers knew how to bend your will by just giving you extra credit. I took the notebook and sat down at my desk. I read the previous entries and decided to write back to Mike's.

Dear Mike,

Well I had that problem too! It worked out for the best but you should watch her movements when she's around you. Like if when you go to hug her and she doesn't pull away right away she may just may like you.

Oh and also if your leg touches hers when your eating at lunch and she doesn't move it away she might like you. But I'm not saying these all work, it's just a possibility. . .

The next day I get the notebook back. I read everyone's entries. There seems to be a Kimmy, Mike, and a Nick. They are probably all fake names so I'm not sure who I'm talking to.

Dear Everyone,

I didn't go home last night but I guess you don't really care about that. I agree with Nick about your problem Mike. I've found out alot of girls liked me and didn't like me with those tests. Kimmy you probably don't agree with them but they saved me a lot of harsh rejections.

I bet my dad's completely pissed though. Not that I care. He deserves to worry though I doubt he did. Kimmy don't worry as long as the guys don't go after you, you shouldn't. But if they do kick'em in the groin and run.

Nick your life is probably running smoothly but just in case a little advice if something isn't going well you can always count on this notebook. It's not like we go around talking about other people's private life.

I have the notebook again in third hour. Seems like the thing just keeps coming back. But this time when I read it there are more responses.

Dear Everyone,

Your right Dave I don't agree with it but I guess there is nothing I can do about it. If a guy ever tries it on me, I think I would give him a nasty look and move my leg away. The guys have never tried anything on me so no need to worry, I'll take your advice though.

Nick your life seems perfect but you never know something might go awry. Mike seems to me you have an unrequited love going there! I would hate to be in your position.
