Chapter 3
The boys and Terri were outside playing soccer at the end of the day, this time it was just for fun. Terri dived for the soccer ball which was now in the other teams posession. She had managed to get it away but before either team could get to the ball the buses had arrived. Terri and Claire had managed to get on the bus but Cody and Chris who didn’t were still waiting for their moms to arrive. As soon as the buses departed Cody jumped right on Chris about the kiss.
“So Chris I saw something really interesting that happened in the hall?” said Cody with a smirk on his face.
“R-r-really?” stammered Chris. “What was it?”
“I think you know what it was!”
“I didn’t see anything interesting!”
“Maybe because you were the one doing the interesting thing!” said Cody. “You guys were messing around and you fell ontop of each other and kissed!”
“Please don’t tell the others!” begged Chris. “They’ll torture me forever!”
“I won’t if you let my team win every soccer game and. . .” said Cody thinking. “You have to help me find a way to get Terri to like me!”
Chirs made a gagging sound. “You like her?” he asked. “What so good about her? She’s like a boy! She may look pretty but she’s too tomboyish!”
“I like those kind of girls!” he said. “She seems like she’s easy to get along with and it wouldn’t be that hard to find a subject to talk about since she likes sports. Besides what does it matter to you anyway? You said you don’t like her so it should be fine.”
“Well after all those amazing details I’ve decided you can have her!” he said sarcastically. “She is a good kisser though. That might be her first kiss too!”
Cody glared at him. “So are you gonna help me or not?” he asked.
