Brendon sat at his computer on a Saturday and was typing up a report for English class when Megan sent him an IM.
Recently_Single: I don't think that Taco Surprise settled with my stomach!
New_me: Why?
Recently_Single: 'Cause I have been puking all morning!
New_me: You sure you aren't pregnant? It could be morning sickness. .
Recently_Single:. . .
Recently_Single: brb
New_me: Hey wait! I was just kidding!
After a few minutes of staring at the screen he returned to his work. His hearing heightened waitng for the little sound saying she replied back. Soon he heard it but didn't like the answer.
Recently_Single: OMG! I'm pregnant! And with that jerk's kid!
New_me: Josh's kid?
Recently_Single: Yeah
New_me: Anything I can do to help?
Recently_Single: No, I'll talk to you at school on Monday.
Brendon looked at the computer screen and exited out of the instant messenger. He saved his report. He didn't feel like doing his work anymore. My best friend's pregnant he thought Now what?

He walked to school and didn't even stop to say hi to Ashley like usual. Ashley looked at him and grabbed him by the arm. She pulled him the side. "Anything wrong?" she asked. "You didn't say hi to me."
Brendon looked at her. "No. Everything's wrong!" he said. "I swear I'll beat the crap out of Josh for this!"
Ashley glared at him. "Oh no you won't!" she said. "You can't beat up my boyfriend." Brendon stared at her surprised. He opened his mouth then closed it.
"Okay then!" he said. "What I'm about to tell you is confidental! Do not tell anyone! Got it?"
"Yeah!" said Ashley scared that he was being serious all of a sudden.
"Meg is pregnant and with Josh's kid." he said, quietly for only the two of them to here. "She had just broken up with him about a couple days before you went out with him."
Ashley gaped at him. "So that's why you were going to kill him!" she said. "I won't tell anyone I promise!"
"Thanks!" said Brendon, giving her a hug before he walked down the hallway to his first class.

ha ha, highschool dramaaa is starting. he may be mista big shot now, but he still is a geek. he should of played it cool, and waited to see if it was true. one thing i dont like about this chapter is the prego part. it just comes completely from nowhere. it just doesent fit right. |
