Vampire Behind Closed Doors 9

Tiffany woke up around 7:30 the next afternoon. Damen was in the kitchen cooking some chicken. The mixture of spices was the best smell she had ever walked through.

"Mmmm, that smells really good."

"Ya, I desided that it was time i made you feel more at home here. It will be done in about 15 minutes. How did you sleep?"

"I slept pretty good, and thank you very much for the efort, but you didnt need to do all of this, I felt at home anyways."

"Well that is good, but i think a good treat will be good for us." he said will a smile on his face.

"Are you not going hunting or anything like that?"

"I dont have to hunt that much, but i might later tonight, it just depends."

"Oh, well what can i do to make myself useful, I dont like siting around when things need to be done."

"Well if you want to you can get some plates down, and set the table. I already have everything else ready."

As dinner cooked Tiffany set the table, thinking about what it would be like to be up all night and sleeping all day. Damen walked in with the food, and started for the stare case.

"I am going to change into something a little better for super, you can do the same if you wish to."

Tiffany ran upstares after him, and rushed to her room to change. She grabed a black silk dress out of the closet and put it on. She let her hair down and brushed it out well, untill it had a glossy shine to it.

Meanwhile....Damen went to his room and put on his best black pants and a white dress shirt hoping it wouldnt be to formal. he combed his hair back and left the room.

As Tiffany started down the stair case, she knowtist that the lights were out and candles flickering about the room. A smile lit her face, knowing she had picked the right thing to wear. She saw Damen standing at the bottom of the stairs watching her walk down them, a smile on his face.

When she got to him, he took her hand and led her in silence to the table. He pulled out her chair for her and helped her sit. Tiffany smiled up at him and wondered why he was being so nice to her all of a sudden.

Damen sat at the other end of the table and looked up at her.

"You look beautiful, you really do." he said to her, amased that she would try and look so nice for him.

"Thank you, you look handsom your self. Everything looks so nice, and smells so deliciouse."

As they ate super and made small talk, the time flew by. Soon it was 11:20 and they were siting in the living room. Damen had his arm around Tiffany's sholders, holding her close to him. They sat there in silence watching the fire and enjoying each others company.

Tiffany wondered, would this be the night she became a part of his world? Or is this just another step to becoming a vampire?

Damen could tell that something was on her mind, but just let her be. Instead thinking about how he was going to change her, when he would do it and if he would ever be a good husband.
