The next morning came very early for Tiffany.

Damen woke her around 5:00 and told her that he would be gone for a while and to make her self at home, but that it would be best if she were back by dark.

" I moved out of my house so I could do what I want, not to find someone else I dont even know to boss me around."

"I never said you had to be back, I just told you that it would be best. Anyways Im being nice enough to let you stay. If you have a problem, by all means leave."

Tiffany thinks about what he has said and desides that she likes it here and wouls rather stay on his good side. Knowing that if she did make him mad she wouls have to find somewere else or go cralling back to her mother.

"I can cook you breakfast before you go if you would like" Tiffany offers.

"No thank you, I wont be eating for a few days, but if you want to eat, the kitchen is all yours."

Tiffany goes back up the steps and takes a quick shower. As she gets out she knowtises something odd, the bathroom has no mirrors. She then goes down stares and starts to rumage around the kitchen hoping to find some cerial to eat. Instead she finds only small amounts of food. She desides that she will just eat some crackers and watch some TV.

About 3:00 that afternoon, Damen comes home, blood runing from his head and many other cuts on his body. Tiffany rushes to him to help him to the bathroom.

"Were do you keep the First-aid?"

"I only have a few bandages, i dont have any cleaners." he tells her. "Just grab some gaws out of the cabinet."

She does what he tells her and soon he is patched up.

"What happened to you?" she asks him, very conserned.

"I ran into a few 'friends'. They wernt very happy to see me."

"But why did they do this, they couldnt have had that good of a reason to try to kill you could they?"

"Yes the do. It all has to do with my family."

"What about your family, you said that your name was comon in your family too?"

" I cant tell you, I dont want you to fear me. Your the closest thing to a friend that I have right now."

"I wont be scared of you, you should see what i went through at home."

"Maby some other time then, Im going to lay down. That fight really took it out of me."

Tiffany drops the subject and helps him to his bed. As he falls asleep she wonders what he has to hide that is so important.
