Ok, this game is like a mix of fighting and adventure, and although I suck at fighting games I liked this game. The game has a story mode, a vs mode, and an online mode. I only played the story mode cause I know I would get my ass handed to me online. But suprisingly the story mode is fun, it takes you from the beggining of the series to just after the Chunin exams. I was kinda disapointed when the game ended so early in the series but oh well its still a fun game, and most fighters dont even have a story mode in the first place.

The game is an adventure game until you run into an enemy, which happens a little too often when running around outside the Hidden Leaf village, then the game turns into a fighting game. One fun thing to do in fights is use Jutsu. Its pretty tricky because you have to remember the combination of directions to move the sticks and time it right so the enemy doesnt hit you while your charging up to do the Jutsu. Some of the kinds of Jutsu you use are shadow clone jutsu, which I used alot, sexy jutsu, which you use to confuse enemies, and chakra concentration, which I only used once in a fight because all it does is make you a little stronger for a short time.

If your looking for a true to a dime source Naruto game then you'll never find one, this game is the closest to it you'll find, and it skims over alot of stuff. Thats what disapointed me, the shortness of the story mode. Anyways, theres not much to talk about since its basicly only a fighting game with adventure elements thrown in here and there. It's merciful to people new to fighting games because if you die three times on one enemy it gives you the option to refresh all your 'memoclips' which are memories that help Naruto revive if he is defeated in a fight.

8/10

2 points tooken off for shortness in single player(which is important to me)

I rented this game on Gamefly.
