Shadow of the Colossus ReviewAuthors Comments: U+NoobToob=happy :)

You stand before a pile of seemingly harmless rocks with nothing but a sword and a bow. Before you have a chance to devise a plan the rubble begins to shake. It stands up and standing before you is a mountain that has nothing better to do than squash you. Welcome to Shadow of the Colossus.
This game is nothing less than epic. The only enemies you'll find are colossi that would make any normal man piss his pants. But your no normal man, you are the Wanderer (thats the only name the game gives you) and you are on a quest to revive your dead lover. You start the game traveling to a forbidden land and you meet a disembodied voice that tells you that you can revive your love if you go and kill 16 colossi...or is it 15? God damn my memory sucks. Anyway, after you get the go ahead to kill the first colossus you jump on your horse and ride him/her toward the beast. The only way to locate the colossus is by using your sword and following the light that comes out of it.
I don't want to spoil the first colossus for you because when I fought it for the first time knowing nothing about it it (Ugh, I hate using two of the same words right next to each other) was epic as hell, even though it was the easiest one.
After you kill the first one it's statue implodes and you go and kill the next one. The story might be hard to follow for some but if you can follow it be prepared for one good story. But be patient cause the story dosn't really kick in until the very end of the game.
This game is supposed to be set in the same universe as the game Ico, which I have never played, and it was set before the events of Ico.
Climbing on the colossi is one of the most fun points of the game. It's really very fun to climb a mountain and then slay it. I give this game a 9.5/10.
Pros: EPIC AS F*CK!-good story-fun gameplay
Cons: The game might turn people off because it's basicly just a long stream of boss battles.
